Haven't heard anyone talking about these guys, so I'll get the ball rolling. Never seen them live, but love the album.

Saw them at Emo's here in austin open for foster the people. They are pretty good, the lead singer does have a bag of flutes on his shoulder but pulls it off, someone in the band sold my gf a lighter before the show.. thats my useless 2 cents.
Gardens & Villa - Black Hills - SXSW 2012 @ Red Eyed Fly

For real though. haha i actually just started listening to them yesterday. Lame, i know. They are now on my must see list of acts to catch on Sunday.
haha I'll try working on that, thanks.
They are good live. Honestly i can see how the flute can appear lame but it is used nicely, a lot of times dubbed in as the core beat of the song..you find yourself wanting more flute. They are a solid act and if what they said after the show is true (early in a tent when asked them about coachella) good act to catch, escape the sun. listened to their CD tracks 1-4 are good but after that i get lost.
They played one new song i heard during sx, can't recall the name, free beer at the show before.
Must of missed my post, but unfortunately I missed them after all the wishing... but, as luck would have it, they're back and will be playing Pappy and Harriet's in May.

My girlfriend is a huge fan, which would be a better venue to see them in...Pioneertown or the santa ana observatory? Pioneertown is about an extra hour drive for me but seems like it would be a cool place to see a show.
Caught their set weekend one and enjoyed it. Never seen a quiver of flutes before, but it all worked.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.
Coachella 10, 12.1, 13.1
Lalapalooza 94
caught some of morgan page's set but skipped to see them. Their album is amazing and so was their live set
