Continuing the trend for 2012...

You know the song. Every year there's one song you discover by some band you weren't really familiar with until the lineup came out. It's upbeat, it's probably some form of indie rock. It makes you bounce a little while you listen to it. You can feel the sunshine. You can imagine the release that washes over you when you hit those Polo Fields. Even though it's hotter than fuck out, you haul your sweaty ass over to the Mojave or Gobi or Outdoor to catch their set. And while only a few minutes ago you were too beaten down by the lack of sleep you'd suffered in all the excitement, by the drinking and drugs you're blasted yourself with the night before, and by the oppressive heat--when this song hits none of it matters. You're at Coachella.

Yeah, what's the song that we're going to hear overplayed over and over in the campgrounds? I almost feel that Levels is already too played out such that we won't hear it that much come April. But I could be underestimating how douchy people can be with their car stereos.

Last year I couldn't walk more than a couple camping spots before hearing another car blasting either the Skrillex remix of Cinema, or Barbara Streisand - Duck Sauce.
