Basically 75,000 passes per weekend. That's official capacity and no more will be made for available to purchase from GV.

GV has not announced a number, but 75k p/ weekend is the best guess we have. I've heard somewhere that they sold a total of 140k for both weekends, but I have zero evidence to back that up with.

I was hoping that GV would release less per wknd b/c I truly miss the days of pre 2008 Coachella when I could still walk around the sahara and other tents without feeling like being in a big mosh pit. But looking at the chaos of the ticket sales, I guess I'm happy as many people that can fit on the field would be able to experience the festival?
