lying in the grass with 70 degree breezes listening to this set was abso-goddamn-lutely amazing.
I checked him out Week 2 despite the so-so reviews. However, I loved this set. Sure he isn't very engaging, he was definitely burning less calories than any other performer that day, probably a good thing given the heat. The music came across beautifully, and for his style of music I can appreciate the laid back approach. It was perfect to lay in the polo fields too.
I was there, it was really good, Dan is crazy

Definitely worth checking out! Had read lots of mixed reviews of their shows so I naturally had some reservations. Their live stuff not only translates well for me but I can honestly say that their live stuff was even better then their recordings. I liked them before but now I fuckin love them.
there must have been something really positive in your life going on at the same time
although going for it, it doesn't really reach the heights of 'All The Young Dudes', but it's really close on the lyrics alone...."and a memo from Feldman saying everything is true"..."Hey, isn't that what rock and roll is all about, princess? Confess your bloated self, willful and indignant, in the face of somebody's lord". The Sublimation Hour.
