tUnE-yArDs will undoubtedly be one of the best sets of the festival. Check them out if you have not heard of them yet!
Make plans for Saturday!

She is very talented. She used to play solo, but now has a whole band backing her up.
One of my top 10 must sees of the weekend. I wish I listened to her prior to passing it up at OSL
Oh I can't wait for her. This and Bon Iver are my top bands I cannot wait to see.
Ya, she is fucking spectacular. I only picked up her album like a month ago, but I am seriously in love with it.

Got in early to Outside Lands this year and was right up front for her set. Definitely the surprise set of the festival. Looking forward to seeing her again.
Same here, we went extra early just for them at outside lands and it was great!!! I was excited to see them in the line up. Very upbeat set with good positive energy. Great way to start the day.
I thought her album was interesting, if there's nothing else going on I'll check her out b/c I've heard that she's crazy good live.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
Lol this is a must pass
Blink-182 w/New Politics & Atlas Genius September 18 @ SB Bowl
Thirty Seconds to Mars October 12 @ Hollywood Bowl
Biggest surprise at OSL for sure. I will being trying to see her set at coachella. I didnt really care for her album to much, but it just sounds so awesome live. Still have not gone back and tried to listen to the album again, after seeing her.
Surprised this band isn't getting more love. Listening to their album for the first time and it's amazing. Frustrating they are on Saturday, the day with the most conflicts for me. Might have to go see their show with St. Vincent in SF.
eh. i bought the album last year b/c i liked the song bizness so much, but i can't get into it. honestly, it gets quite annoying after a while. i'll probably skip...
Yep - something a bit different, looking forward to checking them out
Dede' Arneaux
Come a long long, come a long long way
Don't revisit the recorded stuff much besides Powa and Gangsta but she's super good live. The bass player too.
Beaker from the muppets started a band
Killer live performance. Loved it at outside lands. She's gangsta. Oakland in the house!

Definitely one of the more creative artists during the weekend. I hope they go on early Saturday before the day becomes a cluster fuck of conflicts for me.Here's my favorite song by them.
The light bulb on this went on for me recently. click. aha! I get it.
whokill is really really fun and very interesting and pretty damned awesome in places. You haters are masturbating retards.
also, did you see this?

If her live set is anywhere near as compelling as the album it will be a definite highlight.
edit: but I'll be god-damned if I'm gonna write Tune-yards with the stupid capitalization.
Her live set is better than the record, imo. It's a joy watching her weave her soundscape together. Glad you've found her, Tom. If conflicts don't damn you, let us know how you like her.
I haven't seen her live yet, but I've heard that her live sets are better than her studio work and I'm already a fan of her studio work.
