Thur 3/22: Luciano Pool Party @ Shelborne, followed by Marcy All-Stars w/Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, Deniz Kurtel etc
Friday: Supplement Facts Party w/ Guy Gerber, tINI, Maayan Nidam, Martin Buttrich, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves
Saturday: Get Lost 7th Edition with pretty much all of Crosstown Rebels + Jamie Jones + Sasha + Todd Edwards
Sunday: Last Resort w/ Maya Jane Coles, Visionquest, Pillowtalk, Maceo Plex, Magda, Joris Voorn & Nic Fanciulli
And yes, I will be attending Swedish House Mafia at Coachella. I'll take cheese house over no house any day.
Yeah it was definitely a bit TOO epic for me...by 7pm saturday every part of my body hurt, and I was completely exhausted. Had to go back to my friends and miss the crazy "Rebel Crew" aka Damian Lazarus b2b Seth Troxler set :\ and I totally took a power nap at Villa on Sunday for an hour or so in one of the rooms...those couches were just so comfortable!! haha
So why was the shm @ msg so terrible? Ill admit ive never seen them live, but i id watch the stream on youtube and it sucked, baaaaaaaad.
"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."
I've given these guys a shot again and again. They are obviously good at what they do or else nobody would like them, so I gotta give them respect for that. I just don't feel it though and it's not my cup of cheese. I'm sure that everyone who goes to watch them will have a great fucken time!
It was terrible, uninspired, boring and very vanilla. They are just as bad as avicii. Oh ya, that essential mix that won em of the year in 2010, i couldnt even get through it. Compare them to any other "big" name in electro that is playing main stages at these festivals, they all suck about the same. At least steve aoki doesnt even pretend to mix things and throws cake in peoples faces.

That was the most memorable moment from the Ultra webcast for me. Still makes me laugh thinking about it.
Hahaha yeah someone had posted this on Facebook yesterday. I agree with Dj Sneak to a certain degree about some of the issues he has with SHM. However I think his approach could've been a little different. To me, Dj Sneak is a house music legend and doesn't need to resort to name calling on Twitter to prove a point. Just seems a little childish to me I guess, but what the hell do I know, perhaps it was all in jest and was just an everyday conversation between Sneak and Junior Sanchez that was taken out of context and Steve Angelo's just getting a little too butt hurt for his own good. Sometimes people just need to take a step back and let others enjoy the shit they like. Live and let live.
