    Default Wild Flag

Wild Flag had one of my favorite albums from 2011 and their videos are incredible. If you see Wild Flag, you will be blown away by their energy at the show. One of the most unboring live bands since the Who played the Rock and Roll Circus in 1968.

Wow, seeing Wild Flag also allows you to see half the main cast of "Portlandia."

Saw them last March they are not to be missed and they were all cool afterwards and signed autographs and talked to people. I told Carrie all I wanted was to shake her hand and thanks for the great music.

You are such a gentleman/lady (your gender is not easy to identify).

I am a gentleman thank you for asking. I just think so many female bands who put out great music the music gets overlooked and I didnt want an autograph I bought a tshirt and remember always that I got to see one of my favorite people from Sleater Kinney, Portandia and Wild Flag and tell her thank you.

Sleater reunion? They've referenced it a couple times in interviews with some optimism.

Listening to their CD right now for the first time. They sound like a fun band, I'm glad to come here and see they are great live. I'll definitely be checking them out.

Their show at the Troubadour last year was one of the best I saw all year. Tons of energy and carry themselves like total bad asses. Not having seen Sleater-Kinney I can't speak to any sort of comparison but if I were you I'd make their set a priority.

My guess is that they'll be on the Outdoor in 4.00ish range. A tent would be more fun with this outfit, though. Looking forward to it, regardless.

BTW, KENADO, when you brag about a group's "great videos," the least you could do is post some.

I'd see this band for Janet Weiss alone, she is one of my personal favorite drummers. I honestly wasn't that impressed with their album last year, it seemed pretty so-so to me, not really bad or boring but not really great either. But I have heard that their live show is a whole different ballgame so I'm sure they will be great.

I feel the same way, I didn't dig their album but if nothing else is going on I'll check 'em out. I fucking love Sleater-Kinney.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

You guys are going to have a great time at this set. They are all badasses that are not going to disappoint. +1 to the poster who mentioned Janet Weiss, she is extremely talented (and always sets up her own drums, which says a lot about her). Also: long live Sleater-Kinney.

I watch this video a few times a week. It pumps me up!

I regret skipping the Hives for this set. Bad audio and generic sounding rock.

You had 1/2 an hour to figure that out and get over to The Hives...

Yeah I caught the first half of their set and still made it to The Hives with time to spare and a pretty decent spot. I liked Wild Flag, nothing earth shattering, but a decent set and some solid girl rocking going on.

I caught the set and it did not disappoint. The songs sound way more energetic live than they did on the album, and Janet Weiss fucking rules.
