Saw them with the Kills at the Filmore in SF and they were great. I love their current record. One of my favorites of 2011
Looking forward to this set!
2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 W1, 2012 W2, 2013 W1, 2013 W2, 2014 W1, 2014 W2 and SOON 2015 W1 & 2015 W2!!
Each album has gotten better, which I think is a hell of a feat. Skying was my 2nd favorite album last year. Drove down to see them in Tucson last September. They were fantastic. Since I've already seen them recently, there are a few bands that might trump my seeing them again. The Outdoor just after dark would be cool.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.

Did no one else see this set? They played to a less than half empty Gobi and were fucking awesome. Definitely one of my favorites of the weekend. Still Life and Moving Further Away were the highlights.
I was in that tiny crowd and yes it was awesome! Was planning to watch half this set and then half Amon Tobin's, but stayed for the whole thing because The Horrors were fucking great!
I agonized between this and Amon up until 5 minutes of a crowded view at Amon.
I missed my favorite song "Changing the Rain" but got to see everything else, great set!!
My girlfriend and I fell asleep by the soundboards during the Black Angels waiting for this set (weekend 1) and when we woke up, we, regretfully, walked back to our camp to sleep (to be fair, I had been dealing with nausea since late in the night before and all day Friday). I wished I had not missed this or Madness.
I was there and was thoroughly enjoying myself but they were having terrible sound issues on weekend 1. Bass was waaaay too much and the vocals got lost. Can't remember how many times the singer went over to the sound guy to complain about something and the keyboardist was constantly having to do the same. Stayed the entire set and had a blast regardless.
Check out Sleeping is Giving in for great mixes and other cool stuff
