And let's not forget Green Velvet last year. Damn, that was an awesome performance. Sadly, it looks like I'm in the minority now.

Methinks SHM and Guetta will be the after-the-headliner-main-stage sets on Friday and Saturday. Looks like I'll be skipping the after-the-headliner-main-stage sets this year.

I locked myself in a filthy porto potty during Guettas set in 2010 and braided my gooch hair, safe to say I had more fun than being in Sahara.

Out of morbid curiosity and with nothing else compelling on at the time I saw the first ~7 minutes of Guetta from the back in '10. Only 7 minutes because I got too embarrassed to be there and promptly left.

There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that Anyone but Radiohead closes the mainstage on Saturday.

I stopped in in the middle because a friend I had met during an earlier set asked if I would come. It was awful. HORRID.

Amon Tobin? In the Sahara? I've noticed Coachella.com's lineup section now reads "Amon Tobin Isam Live". Will Isam fit in the sahara?

Thats what I was wondering.. his set up is pretty huge. If it doesn't work out in the Sahara because of space I could see him in LCD's 2010 main stage spot.
    THIS IS SOME REAL SHIT.

If the Pyramid fit, ISAM will fit. I don't think he'll have ISAM though...expect a DJ set. I think it would say on the line up "Amon Tobin: ISAM"

ISAM will fit. I think it makes sense for them to close the Sahara with SHM on the main, gives them time to set up and for the crowd to drink some water after PLURing for ten hours and then move over to the main so they can PUT THEIR HANDS UP!! for Angello and company.

    idk man

I went 09/10, 11 the lineup was a massive letdown

this year it's a lil better and i did want to go

but honestly coachella is a 100% commercial-oriented hollywood enterprise now, I understand that they've booked many classic rare bands in their history but they're obviously running out of steam in regards to that now, of course you can only do that so much given the limited amount of bands that you can reunite and etc.

but this dance lineup is a joke, don't really feel that it's in the classic spirit of coachella at all, aka to book electronic acts that are on the cutting edge, last year they gave a little bit of space to that sort of music hence them booking joy orbison, ramadanman, kode9, etc... but this year.. nothing but trashy ass vegas house and shitty brostep.

like even in 09 in retrospect i know that bloody beetroots and surkin were very trendy acts but they were more relevant to their time than these acts are to now.

i only lament missing coachella due to the immediate sellout and the insane resale prices because of the quality rock bands they bring, even though i'm a huge edm fan. why the fuck didn't they book rustie, lone, girl unit, kingdom etc... it's going to sell out anyways may as well get some quality control in there.

anyways idk i'm drunk as fuck, and i'm ranting

this sahara lineup is an all-time low though

edit: except for modeselektor. but they're probably gonna get tossed in the mojave anyway. wherever they play though, modeselektor are gonna shred it.

or art department. or sepalcure. or MORRI$. or shlomo. even fucking hudmo is previewing new tracks and he's kind of due for a coachella appearance.

or like any viable up-and-coming/underground electronic artist.

I'll pass on Rustie and Hudson Mohawke, even though they'd fit in pretty well with the current Sahara lineup.
