my favorite show of the year. so excited they're coming to the desert
Bon Iver will be on Saturday Night Live 2/4.
But with Channing Tatum. lol
Janelle Monae, Spiritualized, Loco Dice, Cloud Nothings, Paul Kalkbrenner, Blur, El-P, Kurt Vile, Nick Cave, Sigur Ros, Moby, Grizzly Bear, The Shouting Matches, Four Tet, Modest Mouse, Japandroids, Savages, Jessie Ware, Booka Shade.
FWIW my local radio station reported that Bon Iver will be on the Main Stage (no big surprise.) I assume the station got a press release from the band.
I love them but I am totally going to take a nap on the Polo Fields

I saw them twice in a row this tour (won tickets to the second date), and even with how stacked Saturday is it's going to be tough to skip them. One of the best shows I saw all year.
The Rolling Stones - International Noise Conference: Los Angeles - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Austra - Colin Stetson - The Pacific Rim Projekt - The National - Goat Rodeo - Hopscotch 2013- GY!BE - Beirut/Vampire Weekend
Pretty sure Justin Vernon knows how to adjust from a theater to a big outdoor stage.
Oh so you pal around with him?
I enjoy Bon Iver, but they've been a pricey act even before they got real popular. I'm not sure how great their music would translate at a place like Coachella, but it'd be nice to finally see them live. Hmm.
Oh yeah, expect lots of bros cheering for Holocene. That one was a surprise for me haha.

so excited for this! i've heard nothing but great things about their live performances.
don't doubt the live performance. the show at the shrine was amazing. one of my favorites of the year as well
They are simply beautiful live. I know they've gotten backlash recently because they've gotten big, but their show at the Greek this past year was gorgeous. I think the Coachella set is going to be fantastic.
well, it won't be fun when he comes back and play the hollywood bowl later in the year. Also, the crowd will be giant for em. Going before radiohead has its perks
They'll be amazing. It's one of those shows where you just listen and let the beauty of the music empower your body and soul.
