Kendrick killed it both weekends. He's so raw live, much different then the albums. Hearing Chapter 6 was really amazing...

I was disappointed with the crowd second weekend though, felt like no one knew the words.

Yeah he killed it during the first weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better way to start it off. I was skeptical about an early main stage set, but he made the most out of it. He had great stage presence during "The Recipe" on Sunday night as well.

Yeah I also lost my voice during this set. Michael Jordan was definitely a highlight. No idea he'd play that, I figured we'd hear mostly all album cuts.

no need for stupid shit like that but alright whatever. point being, kendrick is one of the greatest young artists and an incredible inspiration despite air horns and beat drop outs. the presence and the poetry was full of heart, call it sentimental but dude could get up there and read section 80 like a fuckin audio tape and i would claim it was one of the most inspiring things i heard all weekend.

I know where you're at Pot. And I agree to a certain extent. But I liked the energy of the set and I mean the dude is playing Main Stage... He's gotta throw in some hokey "heys" and "hos" and corny shit too. I just loved that he didn't play only Section 80 cuts and instead played some great mixtape/EP tracks that I never expected to hear.
