This is going to be insane. I honestly have no idea what to expect from this show. I will definitely be there.

Maybe closing the Gobi, like in Gayngs spot last year?

    ...wut?

By the time April rolls around, this set will be huge. Mojave at night, or maybe even sunset Outdoor.

Drake tweeted something like "Man, watching The Weeknd rehearse is making me sad I'm missing Coachella." Something along those lines, so don't get your hopes up.

    That's what I meant! Apologies.

But yeah, late night Mojave makes sense. Where Cut Copy, Robyn or Gayngs played last year.

I understand he's got a huge buzz on the internet...but outside of the internet does anybody know about this guy? I seriously have no idea what the crowd is going to be like for this. Especially considering this is going to be what, his second or third live show?

I'm guessing the Weeknd get a set like Odd Future did last year. Or maybe an outdoor evening set, something like ATDI mainstage>>>>>>(break for Dr. Dre setup during which the Weeknd plays outdoor)>>>>>Dr. Dre & Snoop come on right after.

??? Have you heard this guy's music? I don't think he has seen the sunlight in months.

    House Of Balloons

All his songs very similarish but there are a few great tracks on that release. His age (21) and relative inexperience make me nervous about his live performance.

"Outside" has been stuck in my head for like 3 days. And I'm seeing something like an 8 pm Outdoor slot.

Don't be. If anything his voice sounds better. Though who knows how the instrumentation will be done this time around (the arrangements in Toronto sounded great to me).
