Please no Radiohead / Godspeed You! Black Emperor / Squeeze / Buzzcocks conflicts.
List yours below.
i'm predicting a mangum/radiohead conflict.
I'm not that worried for once. Pulp is THE PRIORITY for Friday, and I am going to enjoy a lot of running around on Saturday. I have seen Radiohead enough so I don't feel the urge to camp out at the Main Stage. I wonder where Noel Gallagher is gonna end up stage and time wise (I know.. there will 10,346 threads for that question soon enough). Nothing I HAVE to see on Sunday, so I am just gonna go for acts I have never seen before and enjoy the fuck out of it. And besides, if something goes wrong I am sure you can scoop up a cheap pass to weekend #2 and get your Groundhog Day on.

Same as zzz except replace Radiohead with Magnum
SHM vs. Amon please.
Dre vs Justice and Explosions vs Amon worry me a little
no Radiohead/Godspeed/Mangum conflict.
Despite being so stacked, Friday and Saturday look refreshingly manageable if billing and set times are even remotely close to last year. Sunday night is so painful already that it makes me want to vomit, particularly I can't think of a similar night that would set a precedent for Dre and Snoop/Justice/At the Drive In/The Weeknd. Frankly, Dre, Justice, and The Weeknd all seem like prime choices to close out the festival, and At the Drive In will conflict with whichever of the three doesn't close out. It's going to be Friday 2010 all over again.
When do the Set Time Predictions threads start usually? Friday seems like a no brainer, but Saturday and Sunday are gonna be interesting this year.
Friday: Just make it possible to not miss Mazzy Star or Cat Power in order to see Pulp or get a good spot for them
Saturday: I don't think any of these would conflict, but the dream goes St Vincent->Feist->Mangum, then Godspeed in the Gobi and then Radiohead.
Sunday: Beirut/The Weeknd
nothing will keep me from pulp on friday.
Friday: I don't really see any conflicts. Mainly because no one on Friday even comes close to Pulp.
Saturday: Radiohead vs. Jeff Mangum, already loathing this. Also, if Miike Snow is in the Sahara, I fear that I might have to miss their set in order to get a good spot for Radiohead.
Sunday: I agree with everyone else, they stacked the real good closers all on one night: Dr. Dre/Snoop vs. Justice vs. The Weeknd. I'd probably go with The Weeknd; I've seen Snoop before and The Weeknd would beat Justice out by a mile.
Saturday is going to be a mess between 3pm and 9pm I feel. With Andrew Bird, St. Vincent, Feist, Tune-Yards, Destroyer, Kasabian, The Vaccines, The Shins, and possibly Magnum.
I'm not sure why everyone is locking into Magnum playing head to head with Radiohead. If I had to guess, I would think that Bon Iver would close the outdoor stage, with Jeff Magnum before him, Andrew Bird before him, and St.Vincent before him. It all meshes real well. Then I see The Shins going on right before Radiohead. Unless there is information I am unaware of.
Justice vs Dr. dre is probably definitely going to happen but Im pretty sure the weeknd is going to open for Dre.
Who else would open for dre? It's rnb/hiphop the latest and greatest thing and one of the most popular rap duos in history.
What about Florence + The Machine though? She's too big for the other stages, and I just can't see At The Drive-In following right after.
My biggest concerns are
Fri: Amon Tobin vs Explosions in the Sky
Sat: GY!BE vs Radiohead
Sun: DJ Shadow vs Dre/Snoop
The Eels - 5.14.14 @ The Crescent Ballroom
PLEASSSEEEE no at the drive-in/the weeknd conflict... pleeassseeeeeee
As long as there is no conflict between Jeff Mangum, GY!BE, and Radiohead (meaning I get to see all three sets in full) I can accept other conflicts, regardless of how hard to swallow they may be.
Philip Glass Ensemble - Philip Glass - Tycho - William Tyler - Nickel Creek - Jandek - The Mountain Goats - Hopscotch 2014
Hence why I'm really curious to see the Set Time Predictions thread. Sunday is going to be really weird, I can feel it. Not to mention, DJ Shadow and Girl Talk are almost definitely not in the Sahara with how stacked that day is EDM wise (even if it is EDC level stuff)...Calvin --> Justice --> Avicii?
Well the weeknd conflicting with dr. dre would be the dumbest fucking thing that I've ever heard of in the history of coachella.
They're the exact same fan base virtually. There isn't a weeknd fan that doesn't want to see dr. dre. I agree that #2 always plays before #1 on Sunday so I would guess that would leave an At the drive in/weeknd conflict which hurts my soul.
Hence why we need Set Times threads hah!
