I get the argument for Kanye, but no way in hell Jay-Z is overrated.

I was falling asleep during Kanye last year, and wasn't that impressed with Jay-Z in 2010. I was beginning to think that maybe I just don't enjoy live hip hop that much, but then I saw Eminem at Lolla and he was by far the best hip hop act I've ever seen.

I was at all three of those sets and Eminem was easily the worst. I mean it was ok but not nearly as good as Kanye or Jay-Z

I've got a rap thing where I generally only like angry rappers (Chuck D, Eminem) and funny rappers (grew up on the Fat Boys and the Beastie Boys, so forth), but not kinda mainstream braggy rappers (Jay-Z being the worst offender, in my opinion).

Needless to say, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are a must-see for me. It's a natural angry-funny mix with these guys, and they will close the show in SoCal style.

I've seen Snoop twice over the last 2 years. First time performing an album in its entirety (RTB 2010) and once as more of a greatist hits (Pacific Fest 2011). Gotta say his greatest hits set blew me the fuck away. The only thing I can say for both sets is that he lagz like a mother fucker. Hopefully Dre gets things going in a timely fashion, really hoping there's no Justice conflict.

I saw that set at Pacific Festival. He is a great performer. And the crowd was pretty small, such a good show.

Can't speak for Dre, but Snoop was one of the low points of 2011 at Pacific Festival. Came on very late and put on lackluster show AND made Cut Copy set late. Hated it!
