INDIO — All the tickets for this year's Stagecoach country music festival have been sold, or as festival organizers said with a photo posted online Friday morning, "The well has run dry."
Promoter Goldenvoice sold more than 40,000 of the 55,000 three-day passes for the festival at Indio's Empire Polo Club on the first day of sales alone back in October.
VIP tickets and camping passes sold out in record time last year, and Goldenvoice created 400 more tent camping spaces in early November to meet booming demand.
"Thank you to the fans that have joined us in the desert and the new ones who will experience Stagecoach for the first time this spring," organizers said in a statement posted to Facebook and the festival website. "Without you, this festival would not be brought to life year after year."
The fifth annual festival, to be headlined by Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean, will be held April 27-29.
