Can't go wrong with a 3 hour arena rock show. I had my doubts about standing for a lengthy time into the early hours of the morning to watch a bunch of hired guns and axl, but it was entertaining and axl sounded pretty damn good. I wish Duff would have opened up and come on stage for a few songs like he did in the last two shows.
Yeah I think the reason Duff opened the last few shows is that Duff is from Seattle so he was prob already up there with his band or whatever.
Indeed, the show kicked major ass. nuff said. Haters can gate all they want but Axl knows how to put on a solid in-your-face kick ass arena rock show.
I'm sure he puts on a good show, but without Slash & Co, I have no interest. Kind of insulting to call it GnR without the rest of the guys. He should call it Axl's Roses or some gay shit like that.
Let's go on a livin' spree!

Great quote from a review I read:
You know how you sometimes dream of one of your favorite bands playing literally everything you want them to play, and they keep on playing forever? This show was like one of those dreams. They sounded perfect, and they kept on playing, and playing, and playing.
My brother said they didn't finish until 2 am. I'm guessing that's a bit hyperbolic, but that's exactly what a great rock show is all about.
they really didn't finish til 2am. Show is a little over 3 hours. Started a little before 11 at forum and finished exactly at 2am
Good to know that my brother is not messing with me. Does the Forum have no curfews?
It's in the middle of Inglewood. i'd guess not.
Oh well, nobody sleeps in Inglewood.
RAWK, I can't wait to see this in Phoenix on Tuesday night! School night for the win!
