Has anyone heard anything about Mumford & Sons being there again? I know there are a lot of people hoping so!

NO. Just no.

One of the most horrific sounds I have ever heard in my life was turning around after bright eyes' awesome set and seeing this pimpled pussy scream "mumfooord an suuunsss!"
I don't see it happening.

this band has 1 thing in common with Passion Pit... how bad they suck
I think their songs are corny as all hell, but their musicianship live is actually quite excellent. In no way would I support back to back years though.
If their upcoming new album is as good as Sigh No More they could be headliners in 2013. They can tour in 2012 and do festivals in 2013.
New track
Can someone who likes this band please explain why you like them? They are one of the worst bands I have ever heard! Thank god they played Coachella in 2011 so they probably won't play again in 2012. I just don't see the appeal...
The reason I dislike them is NOT because they get a lot of radio play. I don't care what is popular or what gets played on the radio, I only care what sounds pleasant to my ears. I don't like their music or vocals. The dude's vocals sound like he's talking instead of singing. But then again, I don't like folk music. At all. Not one little bit. And to be fair, I have never seen Mumford & Sons play live. I have heard 2 of their songs, during which I could not change the radio station fast enough.
OK so now tell me why you LIKE Mumford & Sons.
because of people like this
It's a wonder Old Crow Medicine Show and Dave Rawlings even get on the stage with him. Or Bela Fleck or Abigail Washburn at Telluride.

I don't get the hate for these guys. Their album had some decent instrumentals, and while the lyrics to their songs are pretty trite, I don't think that the lead vocalist lacks talent. I think their higher tempo songs at Coachella were great fun, and the audience certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I was there to get close as possible for Animal Collective, but I walked away more or less a fan, and while I don't think they have enough new material to fill an EP, let alone a new set at Coachella, I don't think that the OP should be ridiculed just for wanting to see a band he likes at a place he likes.
