Well, I would say Tuesday evening/night, but Wednesday morning I start at my new position as the Japanese American History Archivist at the California State Library. Booyah! However, waking up Wednesday means sleeping Tuesday. Boo.

In no way do I expect you guys to throw together a record club just to fit around my schedule. I was kinda kidding anyway. Ufabulum will keep until I return.

Thanks! It's a part-time, temporary, barely-paid gig, but it's a gig. I'll still be doing my other job, but not for much longer.

It is pretty cool, actually, I'll be assessing their collections related to the Japanese internment during WWII, determining what they have and what further steps should be taken with the materials i.e. finding aids, priority attention, etc. It's part of a grant project that's been funded by the state since the 80s. Interviews/oral histories, photographs, documents, letters, etc.
