    John, that's awesome to hear.

So, guys, Heidi is leaving soon and we need to have a good one before she goes. Is anyone free this coming weekend?

We should go see Smokey Robinson at Stern Grove on Sunday and then listen to some records afterward!

A levitating turntable from Flynote and powered by Crealev

"The heart of the project, what makes it so innovative, is the motor of the record-player’s turntable. It is made by an electromagnetic field contained in a plastic skin, made by injection moulding for industrial production like the suspended magnet that will be the real turntable of the record-player."

Great, imaging trying to explain that you got hurt when you stumble a little too close to the turntable and had the thing project right into your crouch.

So I found out my sister is coming over for dinner so unfortunately I won't be able to make it as I was asked to help out with the cooking and getting shit ready. I'm bummed out but hopefully the next one for sure I will be able to attend.

I had such a great time hanging out tonight. Sad I left my "fancy" cheese behind, but happy because I'm fat.

    Hahaha, awesome!

Thanks for coming by everyone, those who didn't come missed a good one. We drank a whole lot of beer, too, we could probably list that as well.

    Let's see ... here's what I remember:

Jimmy Reed - Sings the Best of the Blues
    Olafur Arnalds - 10"
    Beastie Boys - Sure Shot
Elton John - Candle in the Wind 7"
Ellen Allien & Apparat - Orchestra of Bubbles
    Otis Redding - Recorded Live
    Birthday Party/Lydia Lunch split
Sam Cooke - Ain't That Good News
    Lindstrom - ???
MF Doom - Hoe Cakes b/w Potholders

There's some other stuff I think I'm missing but that's what I remember.

Ed, what beers did you bring? I had some of that Ninkasi imperial red, some of that Belgian from Redlands, but not any of the third bottle you brought. And then in the fridge we had Lagunitas Imperial Stout, that Sam Adams 13th hour stout, Bear Republic pale ale, and Brother Thelonious. Robin brought Deschutes and Bryan brought something I can't remember.

Who brought Stare? We've played that before at record club, but it might have just been Greg and me. Great release.

Yeah, we listened to both sides of that Dead record that has them playing at the venue in the Sunset on one side and Pigpen playing guitar and singing on the other.

It was a damn pleasure seeing everyone I did. Robin's dips are definitely worth the hype.
