Greg, is there a grocery or convenience store near you that would sell pineapple juice? The ones by me have none. (Missing hurricane ingredient).
I hope this tastes better than it looks.
Edit: King cakes are supposed to have a tiny baby Jesus hidden in them. Whoever gets the jesus is King (or Queen) for a day, but... they're also supposed to make the cake the next year. And there's also a superstition that they (or their partner/wife/gf) will HAVE a baby within the year.
I decided none of us need babies, so there is a tiny kitty hidden in it instead.*
*Really I just could not find a plastic baby.

YES. Stoked for king cake. We might actually be getting a cat soon, so I think the cat is a good choice. That and, well, Cara is coming and I heard she's into cats.
Umm, there's a safeway nearby, so I'm sure they sell pineapple juice. Aaaand I live in a 98.375% Asian neighborhood, so all the stores around here carry all kinds of tropical fruit juices.
And it should be noted that Salah is coming by and leaving early because he's seeing the Flaming Lips. Figures he might be here by 4, so you all are welcome to come by at that time as well if you're free. I just need to put in a couple job applications and clean the bathroom floor and I'm set.
Cara's going to give me a ride, so I think we'll be there more like 6.
I should be there by 6 too.

And after the absolutely electrifying Otis, I played Ryan Elliot's Rocksteady/Steadyrocking

Purple Rain is sooooo good. The Otis was too.
Greg, I liked your friends a lot! I wish I hadn't been a loud-mouthed drunk by that point.

Haha, they really liked you too, she sent me a text not long after they left. She immediately comes off as kind of brash and in your face, but Monica is a really, really, sweet lady. She liked talky, drunk Heidi.
I've amended the list, let me know if I've missed anything.
I kind of love Jennie for making sure we listened to Purple Rain.
Jennie needs to be at one of the next meetings!

So it's time to start thinking about our next little meeting. As per usual, weeknights are most convenient for me and my house, but doing a Saturday or Sunday this time around is cool if that is preferable for people. Discuss.
Also, for those interested, Jennie and I are nearing completion of the puzzle, though it's slow-moving. There might still be some left to do at the next meeting.
I still want to come to one of these, keep me in the loop.
My schedule is open, except I'm busy next Wednesday the 7th and am moving the weekend of the 10th.
