Ha, I have an Android, and I'm pretty envious of all the options available for iPhone cases. They are so much prettier than Android cases.

And, FWIW, I had an iPhone until approximately 3 weeks ago, and yes I did use a case. But I'm also a total klutz and constantly dropping/breaking things.

I had to get a case when Iphone was having issues with the antennas. Its kept my phone in good shape even though ive dropped it a couple of times.

i have the Mophie case for the iphone which is also a back up battery. Makes the phone bulkier, but i don't mind. Days where i am away from power sources, it has been awesome. Charges it up to 80% when i'm about to run out.

finally picked up an iphone and the first thing i bought for it was a case. just a basic incase slider case. not too rough with my phones, but like to keep scratches and dings to a minimum.

anyone have the iphone with verizon? am i better off getting an applecare plan or insurance through verizon?

The rubbery cases make the phone tough to grab quickly and easily out of my purse or pocket. The smooth plastic cases are nice but they crack. I have given up on cases and am just careful with my phones.

i got a bumper when apple gave them away for free and it was terrible. they don't last very long before they start to get damaged from everyday use.

Also, AppleCare does not cover damaged equipment from being dropped. You might get lucky and get someone who is willing to ignore the policy and give you a replacement on the house, but you might also have to pay near to the full cost of a new phone when the old one gets damaged.

My screen has only been scratched once, and that was on the original iPhone. I've had two since that haven't had a scratched screen. I've never been able to continuously use a case, because they begin to get on my nerves.

The back is scratched all to hell, but I don't really care about that none.

File me under the No Case category.

I use Otterbox cases on my iphone and tablet. They're damn clunky but perfect for a dumbass like me.

I didn't use one on my old iPhone, and I didn't manage to break it but it did have a ton of scratches and a crack in the case. Have an Otterbox for my new phone, it's incredibly bulky but it seems impossible to damage your phone in the thing.

I had an Incase for my 3GS but it really fucks with my reception. As soon as I take off the case it would improve by at least 2 bars. With the case it had one bar or would send me to Edge.

So fuck the case, just be careful with yOur phone and take it slow

I bought the iPhone case that is made to look exactly like the back of the phone and has clear sides. It's almost undetectable. I don't expect it to be all that protective against drops, but It'll keep the back from getting scratched.

Also, incase has several cool ones.

This is the case I have. It's not too bulky, the back has good grip but its smooth at the same time, and its taken the small falls so far. Hopefully I never find out if it can take the big falls. They make a cool white/black combo one but my friend had that one about a week before the white part got dirty enough to where he went back and got the all black. $35.
