Skream is great but I think we can do better in the originality department. He's been touring so much I'd rather see another act besides Skream, Benga, Rusko, Caspa, Magnetic Man, etc. for once.
northside groove...southside groove....eastside groove...westside groove
I'd love to see Skream, solo or with Benga.
And although I'm not particularly interested, Skream has done a few disco sets, I feel like a lot of people on this board would get behind that.
Skream solo is such a better set then with Benga, and vise versa with him also.
2013 Wishlist:
Joker - Matty G - Mala - Loefah - Darkside - Youngsta - Joe Nice - Biome - Burial - Compa - Pinch - Kryptic Minds - Zomby - Phaeleh - Skream (screw Benga) - Hatcha - Truth - Tunnidge - Lurka - Phace - Black Sun Empire - London Elektricity - A Tribe Called Quest
yea but for the big dubstep name in the sahara this year, id rather see him or benga than datsik, skrilly, downlink, flux, doctor p.. any of that bull.

Yeah, I think Skream and Benga separately are better than the sum of their parts.
Phatty Drummer finally came out! But on the other hand, Skream blatantly likes Skrillex.... hmmm...
2 or 3 years ago I would have been all over this thread. These days I'm not so sure.

no, he just played the one tune, Erotic City I think it was. People weren't feeling it though.
I have a lot of respect for Skream, he's a founding father and many of his tunes have a special place in my heart. I flat out can't stand some of the stuff he plays these days though.

On the one hand, if anybody has a right to play the harder style it's guys like Skream and Benga and Coki. Man was calling it tearout on stella sessions before anyone was calling it brostep. The original sound is sick, because it is just that, original:
On the other hand, tunes like this are supposed to stand out, and when just a handful of people were making them, they did. Now there is so much derivative imitation that has gone so far over the top... difficult to appreciate any of the harder stuff because it all sounds the same now.
