must say, saturday was a lot more fun than friday for me. squarepusher, claude vonstroke and james murphy were my favorite sets of the weekend following with gesaffelstein and john talabot. i feel like friday's crowd was nowhere as energetic as saturday's ... feel sorry for those ravers who would never understand how good they had it for having bloc party

Watching #EDM kids watching Squarepusher was one of the highlights for me.

Surkin and Danny Brown were great on Friday, Saturday from Kill Frenzy to Murphy was a blast too. James Murphy though... that guy can DJ.

I caught ~3 minutes of Skrillex, immediately did a u-turn back to the discotheque.... yuck.

Fake Blood, Gessafelstein, and Erol Alkan on the HARDer stage on Friday...wow. So good. Loved Little Dragon. I think they tailored their set to do all dancey numbers. It was awesome. Overall the best HARD i've been to in terms of setup. no lines, no bottlenecks, lots of room. Great time. I'll definitely be there for Day of the Dead.

first hard event, really enjoyed how laid back and spacious everything was, yet we could still get from stage to stage really easily. the la skyline in the background was awesome and watching metro go by the harder stage with the people's faces was too funny. fake blood/boys noize were probably my two favorite sets of the weekend, and seeing nero live was pretty cool too.

Alex Metric and AMTRAC had massive sets. AMTRAC's set was a dance party, but too bad there were like 20 ppl in his tent.

Did Boys Noize drop & Down?

No. He didn't really drop anything that I knew by him. Maybe 1010 and a couple songs off of Power that were remixes, but even then I'm not sure. Started off the same as Hard 2011, but went in a completely different direction. Loved it. He played depravity by gesaffelstein, and lemonade.

Can we please talk about how much better the production was than any other HARD? Main stage (Hard stage) was loud and booming. LEDs everywhere on that rig. The tents were nice although the clubhouse/owsla weren't nearly as loud as the discotheque, but not a big deal. I feel like gary got some inspiration from Coachella and decided to run with it. That discotheque stage was just a party all weekend. Really fun.

saw him. enjoyable if you like his music, which i do. the best part about seeing huoratron live is the fact that he is going nuts on stage and always has the biggest smile on his face. i was smiling throughout his entire set cause it's awesome to see someone having that much fun.

So overall i was very pleased with this weekend. Entry was quick, never a wait for beers or restroom. For all the sound complaints, I feel like they stepped up there game big time. The discoteque all of saturday is probably one of the better times I have had in a while. Still contemplating going to HHM (now re-branded, yuck) for the 5th straight year. I guess I'll wait to see if the lineup shocks me tomorrow.

yes great weekend for sure! great sound and waiting in line was pretty minimal,had fun at all of the sets i saw.. even skrillex haha :/..running into boys noize at the standard sat was also very cool

He played the new song ft. Snoop Dogg (Lion?) "I'll house you." and the last song he played was Stop, both off the new album. Oh and xtc just like last year. And dog blood, the Skrillex collab. Best set of both weekends. My major complaint was how silent the harder stage was. And did anyone replace Brodinski?
