Hard decision. The Strokes
The Poll section of the board really needs to be eliminated.
modest mouse, definitely. and i actually like the strokes. but issac brock is amazing.
I'll take Brock while tipsy over Casablancas while sober anyday.
Modest mouse for the win! Specially a drunken Isaac, he does a lot more crowd participation that way.... Like spiting and name calling at his fans. I love them!
I think his best drunken tour was for Good News. What a shit show that was! <3
I love them both but The Strokes just feel so good.Don't ask me why, sentimental value as well I guess.
I choose Modest Mouse but really enjoyed the Strokes songs by Julian last Coachella. Maybe just saw thw Strokes too many times.

Since you brought up Julian I have to add. I LOVE JULIAN CASABLANCAS.
Modest Mouse, no contest... lyrically brilliant.
depends if we're talking overall, recent, or live perfomance. Much as I love the stroke their set at the Weenie Roast was very inactive...they played but they just sorta sat there, wasn't much energy. Good sound...but eh...could use some more energy.
