Yeah, Phillip Glass/Tyondai Braxton sound like it'd be pretty fun to watch.
I'm not a fan of the new location, though. I returned my ticket and using that money for Fun Fun Fun. Hopefully I'll see you next year, ATP.

Nothing I said should have been interpreted to mean I did not already know that, big guy.

Don't know why people think I'm not aware of these things. In fact I said I like it in this case - and I meant that non-sarcastically.

You really need a new shtick, man.
You used to actually provide helpful and insightful input about music, movies, all sorts of things. These days it seems like all you do is bounce from one thread to another, correcting people and providing argumentative counterpoints when there really don't need to be any.![]()
5/23 - QOTSA - Wiltern > Boris - Echoplex

maybe ATP NYC related also?
After getting the e-mail from Brown Paper Tickets that my ticket had been recieved and they would notify ATP to direct a refund to me. ATP sent me an e-mail on Monday saying I should expect my refund this week.
Today I got another e-mail from ATP now saying that refunding via paypal will take too long. Now they want my bank routing number, checking account number, banks address and blood samples. I replied to that e-mail. Now we will wait and see how long it takes to hit my bank account. I'm really hoping it's here before next week at this time. I don't know that it's safe to assume as much at this point.
There goes the idea of getting it before Outside Lands.
Bank transfers are being made next week, so you should receive yours
by the end of that week subject to a few business days once it is
processed. Thanks again for your patience.

heads up Afghan Whigs are performing on the web stream
watching/listening and they sound really good.
The quality of this webcast, once I got it to load, is exceptionally good. And yeah, Afghan Whigs are as tight of a live band as they ever could be. Dulli is so fucking great. Can't wait for November.

Omg, you didnt correct something.
And btw
southwest airlines has a crazy fare sale. half off using the code LUV2LIKE travel dates are in sept thru nov. Im sure if somebody was going to spend some time in ny this would be useful due to it applying to tuesdays as travel days.
I think Ty Segall not being part of the last announcement looks to have been intentional. Thee Oh Sees' show here in LA no longer is with Ty Segall according to TM, but with The Mallard.

fml @ ATP australia. Hard to imagine booking international travel around them though
Anyone get their Brown Paper Tickets refund, yet?
*based upon tedious fact checking.
Umm that's what we are discussing?
Oh, I thought some of you bought directly through ATP.

How does this delayed refund situation impact your consideration of attending ATP-run events in the future? If the disorganization wasn't bad enough, I would think this should be the last straw. Who cares if they get good lineups if they're unreliable and can't be counted on to give you your money back in a timely manner in the event of a refund being necessary?
