I love those first six songs on 1965 because they're so effortless, so soulful, and so hook-filed. Black Love is a gem, and "Summer's Kiss" may be quintessential Dulli, but I've started so many Friday nights with 1965 and gin and tonic that I am probably blinded to everything else.

They're different enough albums that it'd be difficult to claim one over the other, but I'd have to go with 1965. Though it's hard to top the last two tracks on Black Love.
