I was in a CD buying mood today. Here is what I picked up.

Portishead - Portishead (first Portishead album I have ever bought/listened to)
Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People
    Justice - Cross
    Manu Chao - La Radiolina

I was also at a pawn shop today. They had a vinyl bin. Everything for 3 bucks. Here is what I picked out...

The Clash - Rock the Casbah (single)
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
    Ac/DC - Back In Black

last night I got Steve Earle - Washington Square Serenade, and Iron and Wine - The Shepherd's Dog. Oddly, they both have dogs on the cover.

and last night, my dog found a scorpion in the house. Weird, how these things happen in threes.

    Recent purchases:
Asobi Seksu - Stay Awake/Then He Kissed Me 7" (limited edition of 500)
Asobi Seksu - Strawberries (2 vinyl and 1 cd single for £5)
    Sigur Ros - Hvarf/Heim
Feist - The Reminder (6.99 for a new cd)
    Radiohead - In Rainbows discbox
Pulp - This Is Hardcore/Ladies Man and Help the Aged/Tomorrow Never Lies JUKE BOX RECORDS...OMG! Both for $10 including shipping. Finally! Pulp vinyl! And if I ever get enough $$ to get the family juke box repaired, taken out of storage, and into a place of residence that would allow such a thing, I'm throwing parties.

Hell yes. They usually go for much more but lucky for me the seller didn't think to make the items come up under searches for "vinyl"...in fact, I almost didn't find them myself.
