Didn't purchase, but was given two great CD's as a gift the other day:

    Glitterbug - Cancerboy

    James Holden - The Inheritors.

I'm not generally big on CD's, but these sound so amazing in my car. Lovely. Just wanted to share.

    Mail Order:

Sadgiqacea - False Prisms (Magenta w/black splatter)

And they sent me a sampler and a patch from the label. Shipping took awhile, but Anthropic did a good job of keeping everything well-wrapped and looking good.

The record and sleeve are just gorgeous too. If you're into doom or sludge, or bands like Isis and Neurosis, I'd highly recommend picking this up while copies are still around. Great record from a young band.

    Mail order:

    Arca - &&&&& EP

The B-side has a really cool etching on the back; it also comes with an "insert" which is literally just a piece of printer paper with the tracklisting, his name, and website. The cover is pretty wild, though:

Shit yeah, Ghostface and Adrian Younge. Adrian is such a badass dude. If you live in LA (or, next time you're there) go to downtown and visit his record store, Artform Studio. It's a record store/hair salon that him and his wife operate, and they focus on soul/funk/hip hop. It's a killer place, Adrian is a great guy and you'll always walk away with a great steal from there. Both Adrian and Pat are super knowledgeable about funk and hip hop, so if you start talking with them you'll be sure to find something excellent.

Also, a cool place to run into hip hop royalty. I've seen Snoop, GZA, Q-Tip and Phife there.

Thanks again for all the praise, which led me to check them out! Dude, I try to listen to the whole album but I just get stuck on The Usher. It's too damn good. Next long trip that album will definitely be the soundtrack!

Looks like most of Depeche Mode's catalog is getting the vinyl ressiue treatment this year via Rhino/WB; 180g version, but no mention of remastering and no bonus tracks included either:

    2/4/2014
    Some Great Reward
    Music for the Masses
    Black Celebration
    Songs of Faith and Devotion

    3/25/2014
    Ultra
    Violator
    Construction Time Again
    A Broken Frame

Got through 2 of 3 lp's. Very good but not quite 1977 level good. Comes with d/l's available in mp3, flac or alac.

Enjoy the show, they were great here on Tues night.

Just pre-ordered Beck's Morning Phase album on vinyl. Love this album already! Also, if you pre-order thru his website, you get early access to ticket sales for his forthcoming tour.

Liars new album Mess has a limited edition for pre-order available:

The wax dipped version of WIXIW went pretty fast, so if you're interested, you should buy it promptly.
