I picked up Captain Beefheart's Clear Spot for $11 the other day which is my second favorite album by him...It is pretty beat up but I love the songs on this album and bear through it.Since there is some Black Keys talk on this page here is a cover the Black Keys doing a song from Clear Spot. Also HOLY SHIT pulling up this song I found ANOTHER Captain Beefheart cover by the Black Keys they have about enough songs for a great Captain Beefheart Ep cover by them.
... meh its an OK cover

That's the only actual Basie record I have. Everything else is either a comp/collection or he's playing on someone else's track. It's really good. Ton of different players, but Lester Young throws down with Illinois Jacquet, Jimmy Rushing does vocals on a couple, Buddy Rich makes a brief but memorable appearance. Roy Eldridge shows up on the last track and takes it to the next level. Love Roy Eldridge.
