Decided last night I really like that album, that will probably be my next purchase.
These showed up a couple days ago, both transparent...
Andy Stott - Luxury Problems 2LP
Vatican Shadow - Ornamented Walls LP
The Pastels - Up For A Bit With The Pastels LP
^ Nice!
Yes! So excited to hear it on vinyl
The Magnetic Fields - 69 Love Songs 3CD
My Bloody Valentine - Before Loveless 2LP
Not sure if this is an official release or bootleg, but it's awesome.
Bootleg. How's the sound?
Weird, like the comments on there, I got one transparent green disc and the other black. But yeah the sound is great, definitely doesn't sound like a bootleg. Those 3 EP's have some of my favorite music ever.. I definitely recommend it!
A bootleg doesn't have to sound like anything. It is just an unauthorized release. Some bootleg folks actually put more care into their releases than actual labels.... I mean, they probably don't have access to the masters, but aside from that they don't have to sound bad.
Cassettes anyone?
http://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com...tion-rock.htmlIn honor of Japandroids' massive 47-date world tour, Joyful Noise is releasing a limited edition cassette of the bands acclaimed second album "Celebration Rock." Our buddies at Polyvinyl released the album on LP/CD a couple months ago, and since that time "Celebration Rock" has been praised by Rolling Stone (named one of the 10 Greatest Summer Albums of All Time), Pitchfork (Best New Music), SPIN (9/10), etc.
So yes, it's a pretty damn good album. And we're super excited to give it a limited edition cassette release!
Limited to just 500 hand-numbered copies on black cassettes, purchase includes an instant MP3 download and ships immediately.
Just pre-ordered the Asoboris single/shirt bundle.
Overdue to get that reissue of The Drift. If an amazon gift card I'm expecting arrives today, I'm getting that.
I'm expecting a free physical copy of The Haunted Man. If it's not arrived in a few weeks, I'll go ahead and buy one before they all vanish.
6/13-16 NXNE
I'm debating how badly I need to own it. It is fascinating from a historical perspective, as well as a listening perspective, but it's definitely not something I would put on regularly.
Also, my friend went to Third Man and got me a couple of 7", and I bought the Metz one at the show.
7":
Cheap Time - Live at Third Man
Dungen - Oga, Nasa, Mun/Highway Wolf
Metz - Wet Blanket/Leave Me Out
The only reason I'd buy it is if it weren't legally and freely available online. The Conet folks hosted it on their website way back and they also had a PDF with the essays that were included. Those are incredibly technical and dry, but dear god Conet is one of those things that I forget I have on in the background and then I have wicked nightmares.
Just picked up:
The Birthday Party - Mutiny!
Daphni(Dan Snaith of Caribou) - Jiaolong
How to Destory Angels - An Omen
Yeah I want the reissues. This is the Mute Records pressing and rather not pay a lot for a EP.Hey Byran we should go to Rhino Records and Euraka Burger when your driving up to Bishop.

Insound is selling the 2009 reissue of Perfect from Now On for $19, which I just bought. I also picked up the green vinyl reissue of my favorite Christmas album, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
