I think Frank Zappa, like Led Zeppelin, is for teenagers. So goofy. Susie cream cheese and all that nonsense.
Also went to Bloomfest today, a free street faire in the arts district of downtown. I saw Mike Watt and Saccharine Trust, who both killed, and dropped by Artform Studios:
Nina Simone - Black Gold
Maxwell - Embrya
The Byrds - Mr. Tambourine Man
Buffalo Springfield - Last Time Around
Pre ordered the new How to Dress Well w/ the 7" and also the new Animal Collective silver foil cover. Also just got the Dirty Projectors special edition LP and the John Maus rarities thing on pink vinyl. Domino is really dumb about combining shipping. Ribbon Mart and Domino use the same shipping company, so I emailed seeing if they would combine my John Maus and Dirty Projectors albums, ($6 shipping each for both, which is stupid in itself) which they were unable to do because they were both pre orders. Both showed up yesterday at the same time from USPS from the same address. Reeaaaal dumb.
Edit: For those that didn't get the Drums Not Dead on the ebay link that was posted, it looks like they are doing a full repress....

I got a refund on my ebay order cause it ends up being like $10 cheaper.
