Most of my records are reissues or not that hard to get, and the most pricey one I have is my $40 copy of Agaetis Byrjun. I gotta say my crown jewel is The Microphones' The Glow Pt. 2. It's one of my favorite albums of all time, 3LP, and has the most beautiful packaging and liner notes I've ever seen. 2008 K Records reissue.

Thee Oh Sees - Singles Collection Vol. 3

I also ordered a toxic green version of Dwyer's new solo album as Damaged Bug, Hubba Bubba, from the CastleFace website.

EDIT - if you're interested in hearing Hubba Bubba you can listen to it on Henry Rollins' last KCRW show; the first hour are a bunch of weird tracks Dwyer picked, and in Hour 2 they play the album in full: http://www.kcrw.com/music/programs/h..._broadcast_255

I'm still waiting to see if the three records I ordered during Barnes & Noble's ridiculous sale last month end up showing up at my door. They were supposed to be delivered today but I'll give them until the end of the week before I call them about it. The consensus on the vinyl reddit was that anyone taking them up on their offer was doing so at their own risk (something about how the sale beforehand went poorly due to issues with stock and shipping and not communicating well with customers) but it was basically buy two, get one free so I figured it was worth a shot.

Also, anybody by chance own or have seen a copy of Holy Ghost!'s Dynamics on pink marble vinyl? I slept on that record and now I want it.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

If they don't show up call 1-800-944-READ. They're super helpful.. I work there and a surprising amount of orders got lost/fucked up because of all the snow storms. It should be there by now, so they'll re-order it for you and give express shipping free of charge.

Well, two of the three showed up today. I was thinking of giving it until the end of the day for the third one to show up before I call. Thanks.

Out from the ashes of the Expedit, Ikea presents...KALLAX.

Considering how revered these units are it would have been surprising for Ikea to just do away with them completely.

Just a heads up for anybody trying to get the Pink Marble swirl version of Holy Ghost!'s Dynamics, the barcodes for the listing on Discogs are off by two digits. There's no sticker on the plastic indicating that it is actually colored so... Best of luck to you.

Where do you guys usually go for LE type vinyls other than RSD? I apologize if it's been previously discussed but it's a looonggg thread!

For instance the Minus the Bear "Acoustics II" is a run of 1000 and I found out via their Instagram, however there has got to be a website that at least lists release dates for rare / collectors vinyl. Thanks in advance!

Oh also, I just got that vinyl in and it is freakin' beautiful!

Friday: Outkast, The Replacements, Girl Talk, Chromeo, AFI, The Afghan Whigs, Bastille, Jagwar Ma, Grouplove, Caravan Palace
Saturday: Muse, QOTSA, Pharrell, Foster the People, Empire of the Sun, Kid Cudi, Sleigh Bells, Cage the Elephant, CHVRCHES, Capitol Cities, Temples, Bombay Bicycle Club, Holy Ghost!, Bear Hands
Sunday: Arcade Fire, Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, Trombone Shorty, Frank Turner, Surfer Blood, J Roddy Walston

    Puffy Areolas - 1981

Picked up this bad boy based on the name of the band and the fact that they had a song titled "Fuck Your Pretzel". Really dirty garage punk with psychedelic tendencies.

Meta: Is it kosher to put up videos in this thread or is that a no no?

I'm very tempted to buy a 2nd copy of a few of the Parenthetical Girls EPs that just were released on their webpage so I dont have to play the blood editions which are worth triple the amount I paid for them.

My St. Vincent album and triangle single arrived Tuesday. I abstained from listening to the leak and it was worth it to have the kind of listening ritual I hadn't had in ages.

That's really cheap for that. Great score. Most of those rebore records are so so, but that one sits really comfortably near the top of their discography.

Sometimes Georgia's supply of used vinyl surprises me.

    LP:
    Cocteau Twins – Treasure
    The Cult – Electric
    Jerry Harrison – Casual Gods
Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians – Perspex Island
    Hothouse Flowers – People
    INXS – X
Joe Jackson – Laughter & Lust
    Oasis – Definitely Maybe
    Pet Shop Boys – Please
    The Smithereens – 11
    Squeeze – Play
    World Party – Goodbye Jumbo
    XTC – White Music

Oasis was obviously the big score, although I've been looking for the Joe Jackson and Squeeze albums for a while.

It's really fucking awesome. I had never heard it before. Thanks to you for introducing them to me a couple years ago. Vision Creation Newsun is still one of my favorite albums I've heard because of here.

I always love spreading the gospel of Boredoms. Glad you guys listened and loved it. Next time they tour you guys need to make sure to make it. They are so crazy good.

And great stuff there. If you're building up your LPs, I think that Big Black album is still readily available, and if not it's usually pretty cheap used at Amoeba. Such a kickass band.
