Also, Spooks posted in some random thread about one of these, but it's official: At the Drive-In is reissuing both Acrobatic Tenement and Relationship of Command. I can't wait to get my hands on Relationship. Special colored versions for Record Store day too.

FWIW, Sacred Bones does deluxe editions really, really proper. The Eraserhead deluxe was insanely cool.

Yeah, it says it's going to have hand-screened sleeves and a wax seal. Sounds awesome.

I missed the part about RoC getting reissued too - that's awesome!

After finding myself indulging in some Stone Roses-inspired nostalgia earlier in the day, I picked up what I hope is a mint UK gatefold vinyl copy of Somewhere Soon by the High on Discogs.

Damn it. I had no idea about The Men preorder and missed out on the deluxe edition. Oh well.

The following is a combination of an Amoeba trip, mail order and some records a friend snagged for me.

    CD:
Kemistry and Storm - DJ Kicks

    7":
    Literature - Cincinnati
    Literature - Tie-Dye
    Pheromoans - Art-Mist
    Veronica Falls - Teenage

    12":
Everything But the Girl - Blame
    Firefox & 4 Tree - Warning
Flynn + Flora - New World EP
    Jeremy Greenspan - Drums&Drums&Drums
    Lone - Crystal Caverns 1991

    LP:
Blind Willie McTell - Complete Recorded Works in Chronological Order, Vol. 1
Crystal Stilts - Crystal Stilts EP
The Jesus & Mary Chain - Barbed Wire Kisses
Mississippi Sheiks - Complete Recorded Works in Chronological Order, Vol. 1
    Christopher Owens - Lysandre
Charley Patton - Complete Recorded Works in Chronological Order, Vol. 1
    Tame Impala - Lonerism
Veronica Falls - Waiting for Something to Happen

Please give us a quick spin of the three Complete Recorded Works and give us an idea of how the sound is: what level of surface noise is present, how the mastering is, how much warp/wobble there is on the tracks. I'm planning on getting both the Blind Willie and Mississippi Sheiks, since I already own a collection of those Patton sides.

    LP:
    Heatsick - Intersex

Also, to answer Bryan's question...the Blind Willie McTell reissue sounds amazing. Very little surface noise, well-mastered. They really did a great job. Haven't listened to Charley Patton or Mississippi Sheiks yet, but I imagine it is more of the same.

I got my mailing confirmation the other day. They said it wouldn't ship till March, so I was pleased to see it shipping so early. I am very excited for it to arrive.

Got the remastered/cut at 45 rpm versions of Ride and Puppets through work, plus the funk 7" that Geoff Barrow and Adrian Utley made in 2002 that is pretty fucking awesome.

    LP:
    Metallica - Ride the Lightning
    Metallica - Master of Puppets

    7":
The Jimi Entley Sound - Apache b/w Charlie's Theme

I have the 45 of Master. It's fucking phenomenal.

If you guys are punk fans and ever have the slightest opportunity to pick up one of the Big Boys records, DO IT. Industry Standard is well beyond worth my $25, and I will be diligently seeking out any other albums by the band. They were revolutionaries.

Some Discogs purchases (my first time buying from there)

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - In The Ghetto 7''
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Tupelo 7''
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Singer 7''
    (all NM)

Trying to collect all their singles before I go on the hunt for the usually hard to find and super high priced LPs.
