    Default Official CD/LP purchases thread

I did a search, couldn't find this thread (even though I thought I started it here), so I'm bringing it back.

Today's Amoeba haul (I hadn't been yet since I started school down here...for me, that's pretty good):

    CD's:
    Gomez - Bring It On
Gomez - Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline
Husker Du - Candy Apple Grey
The Mooney Suzuki - The Maximum Black EP
Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shores
The Posies - Frosting On The Beater
Primal Scream - Riot City Blues
    Pulp - His 'N' Hers
    The Stratford 4 - Love & Distortion
    Sugar - Besides
Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die

    Hooray.

I like how this thread is official. Defeats the purpose of asking if it's an official thread or not.

I officially bought Air - Pocket Symphony last week. I also bought the Peter Pan DVD for my kids (they love it). My husband bitched at me for wasting our Best Buy gift card on a CD we already illegally downloaded early and a kids movie.

The last CD I bought was Spirit Of Eden by Talk Talk. Couple of weeks ago. The last LP... No Heroes by Converge I think, sometimes in February.

I bought these used, just now. I really like that last one, and I've never seen it in a record store before.

EDIT: The copy of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot that I bought doesn't have the name in the upper left, though.

These are all CD's I copied from my pop. He's always been a big influence on the music I listen to and I admire him for still seeking new music and not just listening to music from his generation. In any case:
John Mayall-Turning Point & Jazz Blues Fusion
    Los Lobos- Kiko
    Willie Nelson-Greatest Hits
Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris-All the Roadrunning
    Crosby Still and Nash-Self Titled
    other shit I recently got:
    Elvis Costello-This Year's Model
    The Black Keys-Magic Potion
Van Halen-Fair Warning, Women and Children First
Camper Van Beethoven- Key Lime Pie
    The Rapture- Echoes
    This list will forever grow.
