How long are they usually?

I'm expecting and hoping a pretty long set from RATM. And the Chili Peppers.

70 minutes generally, possibly up to 90. The Cure broke curfew in 2004 and almost did 2 hours.

Radiohead usually play for about two hours... They played 2-3 songs less than the length of their normal sets at Coachella.

yeah its 90 minutes sometimes headliners go longer but theyre not suppose to go past midnight. The libertines and black star got cut off even though they wanted to go longer.

Art Brut last year were the last band to play one of the tents, and they were literally threatened that the plug was going to get pulled if they kept playing. They went about 5-10 minutes over midnight.

Thats only happend a few times. Beastie Boys in 2003 did like 75 mins, Nine Inch Nails did under 80... Tool went over midnight, so did Daft Punk last year.. Its about 90 minutes for mainstage headliners give or take. I expect an hour 45 minute set now from headliners.

yeah Indio's apparently very strict about the curfew. I'm not sure how the cure got away with playing until 12:30 in 2004.

I think the Indio Police were waiting for them to play the big hits and then pull the plug. I dont think they would pull the plug on Rage hows that...

They were a little late getting on stage, too, and Robert Smith was plagued with instrument and technical problems during their main set.. several broken strings, amps cutting in and out. He was fucking pissed and probably demanded the extra past-curfew encore set. "A Forest" was definitely the best ending to a Coachella that I've seen yet.

Yes that was an eternity to wait for the Cure to come on. I wish The Flaming Lips didnt have to cut their set short cause they had problems too but yeah it was awesome..
