Röyksopp is playing Friday, don't know if they'll be the main headliner or it'll be some other act added on phase 2 but from what I saw on YT videos, their live performance only gets better and better.

Don't really understand why they haven't played Coachella yet, it just doesn't make sense.

It makes me feel just a tad bit better for not getting Coachella tickets for Royksopp being on the lineup.

Willing to pay the ticket just to see them and then just go back to the hotel since the rest of the lineup does not do much for me.

On another note, anyone here remember Tiesto trainwrecking when he came out to Zenfest 2001 and crickets jumping on his turntables? lol

Wow, it's official: Texas has shit taste in music.

The crowds that came for Royksopp and CSS prove as a testament to how this state's tastes has regressed.

Royksopp's first appearance in TX had about 300 people at the stage, WTF?

I was embarassed for CSS when only 30-40 people showed up to the Labyrinth to see them, even though they were clashing with Tiesto and DatShit/Boredgore, but they still played a great show and my respect for them went even further that they continued playing instead of being intimidated by a small presence (when their shows are often sold out everywhere else).

believe me i know. i was embarrassed by the turnout for röyksopp. the css crowd doesn't surprise me with tiëstbro conflicting though. you have to remember though, the crowd for this festival likes most of the lineup so you have to take that into account. aside from all that though, i was blown away at how good röyksopp sounded. they were a bucket list act for me so im glad i can cross them off now. i still think they should play coachella. i'd give anything for a late night mohave set from them.

So true, the lineups are usually recycled from past lineups, maybe about 75%-90% of it.

Even EOTO had a smaller turnout compared to their other shows, and compared to Mt Shiteden and R3hab they were preferred for me even though I'm not much of an EOTO fan.

Not much to say, Röyksopp crowd was not big and it's funny that they played to about 3500-4000 people on their headline show in Mexico City the next day.

Never thought I'd say this, but in this situation, Mexico > Texas
