I finally got moving at 7. Kept tryin to leave the set to go back over to sphongle but Derek kept pulling me back with good tracks. Seriously felt like torture. His production was one of the best that weekend besides string cheese.

This type of festival isnt about the music. Music is just a cherry on top. But with that being said the lineup is what brings in the other part of the crowd that doesnt go to these things regardless of the music. With bassnectar and glitch mob playing, you will have a ton of blonde tweeny girls in neon colored clothes and glasses with no lenses. That shall suck, but lib is way awesome. HAVE FUN EVERYONE! we shall see if i can make it out.

Oh, you mean 3 of the better acts from last year? I'm not looking to repeat experiences, I'm looking to create new ones. All we're saying is the lineup is recycled, not that the festival will not be fun for those in attendance.

recycled line ups are common with hippie festivals; ********* too. Community plays a big part and artists develop relationships with promoters/festival throwers so that's why they keep coming back. The artist is excited to play for the do lab, and vice versa. The recycled line up shouldn't be a surprise, there were plenty repeats 10/11. Using that as the reason for belittling it is silly because it was sort of expected...

And I doubt watching Lee (or any of the repeats) last year and Lee this year will give you a "repeat experience". Same dj, same festival, sure. Same interactions, songs, people, atmosphere? No. Just no. Having been to 3 LiBs has proved this to me.

Shpongle revamped the Shpongletron... new and improved. And Lee's set last year was completely different than his set in 10'. I just thought rebooking Glitch Mob was kinda lazy and unimpressive (imo).
