I love the Noise Pop festival. Great venues and I always have a new discovery... 3 years ago it was the Helio Sequence, 2 years ago it was Geographer, and last year K.Flay.

Unless Jeffy Mangum is added, I will say away. Most of these bands play LA frequently/will be in LA after noisepop.

Last year had a really rad lineup. I wonder why the ball was dropped so hard this year. There isn't enough sludgy pop noise goodness on the lineup!

Between the PowerPoint visuals (imagine 'Porter Robinson' spinning around in different colors for 90 minutes) and the fact I was probably the oldest person there - yeah, I got what I deserved. Lesson learned.
