Do you remember if the first round in summer cost the same? I'm planning on trying to get a ticket on the 28th. If I remember right the November sale sold out really quick last year.

I haven't been there since 2006. The line-up would have to be pretty awesome in order for me to change my mind....
bet they'll book artist like Drake as a headliner/sub......isn't that guy huge these days? Can't keep up with what's popular these days without paying attention to the radio/tv the past few years!
or maybe they'll book Neil Young, Daft Punk, and Tom Waits![]()

It would take a top 5 act or two top 10 acts to get me to consider a return to the farm.
I've never been, but I think I might greatly consider it next year.
lol. we just had our shitty tents and my car. totally unprepared.

Same here. Do not go to Roo without a canopy. It will really mess up your experience, as the weekend is already an endurance test. This year we were lucky enough to be near a forest so would get up in the morning to shower, then go lay in the shade under the trees until it was time to head out for shows. Unfortunately this was also where everyone went to piss, and a bleeding fawn showed up. AC blasts in the car are also good. And definitely have a mister, they help so much.
I had to skip some earlier acts this year due to the heat and I was really prepared coming in and throughout. But go to Roo if you haven't. The late nights are legendary for a reason. Nothing better than dancing to LCD Soundsystem with thousands of people at three in the morning.

I had such a blast in 2009, but it will def be lineup dependent for me in 2012. I will be putting most of my energy to make it to Download Festival that same weekend in England.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
they'll definitely have Drake there. he'll probably be like 7th name though, nothing big...especially considering where Wayne was on the lineup last year.
3/13-3/17 - SXSW - Austin
4/11 - The Shouting Matches - Pappy & Harriets
4/12-4/14 - Coachella Music & Arts Festival - Empire Polo Grounds
4/16 - Sigur Ros - Fox Theater Oakland
4/19 - Sigur Ros - Santa Barbara Bowl
4/22 - The Gaslight Anthem - Belly Up Tavern
6-2 - CHVRCHES - Belly Up Tavern
6/7-6/9 - Governors Ball Music Festival w/ Kanye West - Governors Island NYC
i don't have high expectations for next years lineup. i feel like they sort of went all out with last years for their 10th anniversary.

You really think they went all out last year?
I mean the lineup was decent. but it wasn't nearly as good as 07-09
Roo is in decline, lets face it.
I'm going again. Though, two of my best friends who I hardly see are going again with me, so it makes sense. This year's lineup was okay, but nowhere near the 10th Anniversary it should have been.
Yes, they should have had 13 headliners!!!!
They had a couple "classic" roo acts in prime spots, and had the Dr. John perform the album the fest was named after in its entirety. That's already more than most fests do for an "anniversary".
I'm looking for the cheapest airfare possible. Can anyone suggest any? I tried looking at flights out of phoenix to bonnaroo with Southwest, and roundtrip is $549! Fuck that. There has to be cheaper shit out there....
