I'm pretending you all are talking about your real lives in here for entertainment. Which is much dorkier than video games.

I am strangely intrigued by this thread. I think Jacob wants to buy this game though, so this is research, sort of.

I've tried living a humble and good life so far. It was my intentions in this game to be a hunter, going from town to town, selling furs and skins, helping out with the occasional bandit problem, etc... Yet, today, I performed a terrible service for Molag Bal, and did a strange little game with Sheogorath. Oh well...

You get different rates depending on the NPC you're speaking to and your speech skill, I thought?

I've been playing this game for hours at a time since Saturday and I only just realized that you had to unlock learned shouts with Dragon Souls on the Shout menu this morning.

Where did you start this quest? I want to meet Sheogorath

I don't have $60 right now so I'm settling for Oblivion, which I never played and the deluxe Game of the Year edition was only $6.24. Been downloading all day and it's at 13%.

In Solitude. Go to the Blue Palace and listen to a conversation. There will be a guy telling the jarl about some mysterious stuff happening around a cave. That starts off this unrelated quest that will get you friendly with the Solitude jarl and her people. It might be unnecessary, but it helped because I got to ask the jarl's right-hand man for a favor that aided me in the actual Sheogorath quest.

That quest is given to you by an insane homeless-looking guy wandering around Solitude.

I've had to kill a lot of people, after being such a standup citizen. Vampirism will do that to you... no one will let me feed on them. : /

Edit: Sweet dreams, Granny. Finally, people won't attack me on sight now that I'm back to stage 1 vampirism. I gotta admit that was kind of awesome spending all those nights waiting for someone to feed upon.

I am so glad my roommate stayed at her boyfriend's place tonight. I had a giant frostbite spider drop down on me and scare the crap out of me. I dispatched it rather easily, however, and shot a couple of extra arrows into the bastard for almost making me soil myself.

Awesome, thanks. Haven't made it to Solitude yet. Haven't even gone more than three quests into the main story. . .

    Yes!

My favorite enemy to take on with the bow is those old Nord zombies that sleep in tombs. I like the ones that are sitting in chairs, or standing in nooks, or sleeping in those shelf-coffins. I know that they'll wake up and attack me if I move past a certain point, or pull a lever, or take some item... so I sneak up to them and shoot an arrow into their brain. So easy, yet so satisfying.

Search the wolves and you should get a pelt or a hide. At a blacksmith's gaff, in a town or sometimes a farm, you'll find a skinning frame which you can use to turn that into leather. Then you use the leather at a forge to make leather or hide armour, or as a component in something more sophisticated.

Leatherworking, because leather is a fairly plentiful and self-sustaining resource, is a good way to get in your smithing practice and level up a bit.
