Just don't forget to save now and then when you've been wandering out in the wilderness.

Just bought the 25k house in Solitude and got married. I thought my wife had run out on me until I discovered she sleeps in the pantry on the floor of this big manor.

You must make your own choices.

    Save often.

To elaborate though, the game is about doing what you want and finding your own path. Having any influence on where to start kind of ruins the point.

Follow the story till you kill your first dragon, then talk to everybody in the first major city you visit. (Whiterun) The people here act like built-in tutorials for lots of things.

This is more or less what I was looking for. Guess I should have been more specific. Thanks.

And to echo what was said above about making your own choices, decide when making said choices what you want your skill set to be and work on leveling those skills first so you can get better perks for those skills.

Also, do not worship Talos, because I am an Imperial, and I will have you sent to the executioner.

Game is pretty fun so far, and I haven't really cared about games in a while. I'm playing a dude who just smashes everything but I think I want to be a thief because smashing things seems unsustainable.

Aw man, I'm a vampire.. I kept using the potions every time I came into contact with one. I guess I'll just finish the quest to contract lycanthrope, and cure my vampirism.

I was excited to get Vigilance, but in he died in the first fight . I even reloaded a save to try again, but he still dies so quickly.

Also, why does everyone always try to kill my horse? I guess you have to dismount pretty far away from your target.

My horse is a tank, it could take on an army if it has to.

I'm in Riften right now doing thieves stuff, I occasionally feel bad.

I get that it's a target, but it's just annoying that they really choose to fight my horse instead of me a lot of the time.

So I just killed every bandit that was settling at the robbers gorge camp and I'd now like to use this place as my home. It's cozy. I don't have to worry about another swarm of bandits moving in while i'm gone right? I need a place to keep my books , my lady, and my mammoth cheese from harm till I can purchase a home of my very own in the future.

So a dragon I killed just happened to end up being next to a river when he died. All the people in town rushed over to look at and ended up getting swept down the river. lulz

Undeniable. Also, Revenge of the Nerds was filmed at my alma mater.

No he doesn't talk. He just patiently waits for his dead master to wake up....and he never does.
