I dunno, Black Sabbath at Coachella seems too off-the-wall; it just makes more sense that GV would have them slated do the post-Coachella metal fest thing -- if the rumor is in fact true.

so like another big four like deal? a new metal festival after coachella each year? because that would make a lot more sense.
Sure, I mean why the fuck else would Black Sabbath be all up in the rumor mix -- lul, unless they are at Coachella?
i dont know which way my head is going at this point on the matter.

this "big metal fest" is happening when?? You realize the polo fields are booked for April for TWO coachellas and stagecoach? Last year's Big Four was a one off event, not a yearly thing.
See, then if it's not happening why are we hearing about Black Sabbath -- and what's the source of all this? It can't just be coming from the simple fact that they're slated to do a reunion.
I hope Ozzy dies in his sleep tonight so we can settle this conversation
lol where are we "hearing about Black Sabbath" other than some shitty posts here on this board?
You know what I mean, guys.
I didn't buy it when I first read it in the other thread, nor did I after receiving multiple PMs regarding the rumor, but when I later asked my buddy what he thought about this year's bill/possible headliners that's when he said, "hey, you do know Richard got wind from this guy at GV that Black Sabbath is supposed to play", it was odd seeing as how I had just read about it on here; I didn't even mention it to him to begin with -- in fact, we weren't even initially talking about Coachella-related shit.
That's why I was compelled to ask him when he had heard about it and when he said it was "last week" I started to reconsider, because it's not like he had heard the same rumor from the board.
if they were to play, which day would it be?
Planet Caravan on repeat the whole drive to Indio if thread holds trufax.
Tool into Black Sabbath one day, as a co-headliner bill
metalchella
thats a day that calls for a but load of acid and other mind altering substances.
I've decided I'm OK with this if this is a Friday 2010 situation and there is a PiL, Fever Ray, and/or Deadmau5 to check out instead. I guess rap is as polarizing for some as geriatric metal is for me.
Tony Iommi has lymphoma.
Is that gonna affect their European shows?

Quick, someone cancel the Coachella.
I can't believe the number of people on here wanting to see classic rock bands that are half-dead.
2014 completely unrealistic wishlist: Radiohead, Atoms For Peace, Elbow, Doves, Kristin Hersh, David Bowie, Kate Bush, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Shy Child, Massive Attack, Zero 7, The Dickies, Holy Fuck, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, The Flaming Lips
Being "on here" does not necessarily equate to "wanting to see", just sayin'.
