They have a residence in Vegas, Party Rock Mondays with Lil Jon. And I remembering them playing House of Blues or Key Club late 08/early 09. Only reason I know cause my coworker partied with them or at least said she did.

And I can't stand their music but if there isn't any MUST SEE Acts at the time if they come I'll be there for the energy alone. Sahara Party!

You guys take this way too seriously. If you watch their videos, it's obvious they're just jokin around while playing fun party music that gets everybody dancing. I would go see them just for the spectacle. Have you ever been at a club when they're shit comes on? Everybody goes nuts. I guarantee if they're at coachella, whatever tent/stage they play at will be going off.

Plus, if you are so above them, I'm sure there will be other, more sophisticated and evolved musical acts playing at the same time for you to go enjoy.
Let's go on a livin' spree!

This. I dont know why everyone is so opposed. No one is hoping they will be there/defending their artistic merit. Only the drunkest morons would miss a anything more than a mediocre set elsewhere for them but that said they don't try to hide what their music is at all and seem like pretty shameless performers from that video. If they did play, they would have whatever stage they are on going crazy, and the mindless dance party that would ensue because of the amount of radio play they get would quite a spectacle. Plus the silver lining of them being there would be a complete set on another stage free of the "party rockers", who seem to be the antagonist of the average boardie.

this time slot is a potential spot for an artist with talent.

all you idiots saying "if there was nothing good going on, Id go watch them"

srsly....Your paying good money to watch artist that draw interest with talent. These statements are the reason fat ugly women get laid. Dont drop your standards because there is nothing better around at the time. DEMAND GREAT BANDS AND REPRESENT QUALITY. goldenvoice might think your secretly into shitty music and book bands like these dorks.

put your lenses back in your glasses, stop killing spandex zebras for clothing and let the 80s die along with these shitty artists.

if I didnt know girls with their hair shaved like skrillex, going to the cosmo in vegas and "party rocking" every weekend...maybe I would just see or hear about these douches just once in awhile.

I know too many people that claim to be butt buddies with these guys...those people annoy me, the music annoys me and its obvious that the whole thing is a passing fad.

So they played at my school a few years ago. I wasn't there because it was the same weekend as Coachella, but my friends that went said if you take it for what it is, then it's good and I'm sure people would have fun seeing them. That being said there has to be absolutely nothing else going on at all for me to even consider seeing them and already had my spicy pie.

This hypothetical "if nothing good is conflicting" scenario is funny, like it would actually happen if they're at the Polo Fields.

This thread amazes me. Not the hate, but the "I'll check it out if there's nothing else on" claims. It's trash and will bring a trash crowd. I've heard countless complaints of the rising number of douchebags that attend Coachella, acts like this being booked is not going to slow that down. Whatever though, have fun "party rocking" in the Sahara.

    SHM > LMFAO

I guess that reads something like...

Generic Overhyped Cheese > Generic Overhyped Pop

Plus my taste in music has expanded quite a bit since last year when I was supporting them being booked for coachella, so with that my views have changed and I've voiced my opinion that they shouldn't play Coachella either.
