By this time next week I will have arrived in Seattle (arriving around noon next week) with Boourns and Headstruck! I'm guessing the timbers are a soccer team?

Haha I'm just giving my rival team some shit via you. Is the match at Jeld-Wen in Portland? It's a phenomenal stadium and they have great fans. You'll really enjoy yourself.

Yes, it's at Jeld-Wen. We're going to go down there and try our luck at picking up some GA tickets at the box office or from a scalper. And if we don't get in I guess there are a shitload of awesome bars near the stadium to hit up.

So, I need help. We are renting an RV and need to stop somewhere on the way to Sasquatch. I'm not traveling with anything other than a carryon on the plane, so I need to pick up a few necessities on the way. Ideally we'd like to just stop one place, or 1-2 places that are near each other. Here are the things we need:

    1. food
    2. alcohol
    3. pot/pan/kitchen stuff to cook (just a few things)
    4. a pillow & a blanket

Do you guys know of a place, maybe like Target or Walmart, that I can stop at? Initially I thought I had found a Walmart close but it turns out that I was mistaken. Anyway, I searched Target & Walmart on Google maps and neither came up with anything that's really on our way (meaning off the 5 or the 90). On the Sasquatch board they mention Fred Meyer in Ellensburg, but I don't know if they'll have the household stuff like pillows/blankets. Any help would be appreciated! If you eat meat and your tip leads to us finding a one-stop shop for this stuff, you will be rewarded with a santa fe chicken bratwurst imported from Wisconsin. You must be present at Sasquatch to redeem the bratwurst.

On your way out of Seattle towards the Gorge, there is a Target in Issaquah WA off I-90. There are also stores in Ellensburg as you get close to the venue. I would stop in Issaquah though, because the stores in Ellensburg will probably be plundered by Squatch-goers.

I just looked at the Target website and there is a grocery in the store in Issaquah.

    http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot...ocator_new.jsp

Side-fact: Modest Mouse was formed in Issaquah

Thanks. We can't really stop in Issaquah without going out of our way, since we are picking up the RV in Tacoma. We get on the 90 right AFTER Issaquah, but maybe we can backtrack.

You could just take a different route from Tacoma that will take you through Issaquah instead of the 18 that will make you bypass Issaquah (I-5 to the I-405 to the I-90).

If that's not an option, there is a Fred Meyer in Ellensburg.

I know, I am trying to find every way to distract myself from work for the next few days. I just printed out all of our many confirmations (hotel, flight, RV, rental car, etc) and now I want to print out a map!

We really have nothing but time so maybe going a little out of the way isn't such a bad thing.

EDIT: I was just about to ask the Modest Mouse question but then I saw your edit up there. I'm not really a fan but I hope they have a statue of Isaac Brock up in their city.

Would everyone be up for a board meetup sometime on Friday or Saturday? Either at a set, campsite or an afternoon pow wow on the hill?

I only know a few of you on here and would love meet everyone and share some memories, drinks, ect.

Where in Tacoma are you picking the RV up from, casey? I live in the Tacoma area and could probably recommend you the best/easiest spot if you want to get your supplies right away. Otherwise yea, Ellensburg is a great town right on I-90 that has a few stores you could hit up.

Fred Meyer, the store in Ellensberg, is for sure a "one stop shopping center" as their commercials say. I moved to a small island in the south Pacific for a few years and I can not tell you how happy I was to go into Fred Meyers when I got back and find everything I needed in one store:-) You can find everything (blankets, cooking needs, food, clothing, hardware, beer and wine) except for hard alcohol which has to be purchased in a liquor store in WA state. There is one in Ellensberg at 800 SOUTH PEARL ST and they are open from 10AM-9PM on Thursdays.

We're picking it up from Morutris RV and Camping World, which is I guess in Fife, though when I look at directions it says "Fife, Tacoma, WA". The address is 4650 16th Street East, Fife, Tacoma, WA 98424. If there is a place that is really close we would of course prefer to go there! Just weighing out the options now. I printed directions for the Target WCP mentioned but if there is an alternative closer to where we'll be I'm down to hear it.

Thank you! Especially for the address of the liquor store. All this information is incredibly helpful. I love this thread.

Haha shit! I work across the street from that Camping World. There's a Super Walmart right off the highway about 10 minutes (actually 9 according to Google Maps) from there. Here's the address:

    34520 16th Ave S
    Federal Way, WA 98003

    Directions:

Yep, about two miles down the road from that Walmart on the main street that Walmart sits off of:

    31503 Pacific Hwy S

The funny/shitty thing is, as of June 1st liquor will no longer be run by the state, and privately owned stores like Walmart will be carrying it. The festival is a week too early! Sasquatch 2013 booze shopping will be that much more convenient haha.
