I never said that I thought that they weren't big enough to headline, I said that I couldn't see it happening.

Just like MGMT, Vampire Weekend, The Decemberists, and many other big mainstream bands on the same level as The Black Keys and Bon Iver didn't end up headlining.

I agree Bon Iver probably wouldn't get a night to themselves simply because they only have two albums (well, one album if you're a Grammy voter.) But the Black Keys are easily more popular than Death Cab for Cutie, Massive Attack (if we're talking popularity in America), Ween and Ben Harper's Laughable Side Project - all headliners. We can play this game all night.

Beirut more or less played every US festival in 2011... Sasquatch and Coachella being the exceptions. Wouldn't be surprised if the band ended up being at both in 2012.

Last year their touring schedule made it look like they were playing Sasquatch. I was disappointed when they didn't show up on the lineup.

They haven't played since 2006, and with the recent announcement that they're working on a new album it seems possible.
