Really it was our pleasure and it was the perfect way to meet some seriously COOL music lovers! Don't think we want to wait 5 more years to see the SURGE crew again though:-( Missing you Tomas, Sweet Al, Eric, Mark, and all the rest of the gang and those excellent breakfasts you put together each morning! I will definitely bring more tea and mugs next time:-)))) We are planning a trip to Havasu for 4 nights of incredible fireworks and you all will have to make it out there next February 14th-19th! It is the NW Pyrotechnics Association's annual convention and boy do they put on a show with fireworks that no one has even seen before. We will rent a big house or camp on the river with a big speed boat, 4 wheelers, and you all can bring families or just the SURGE crew and go as crazy as you want to. But in 2017 we will be there in the Gorge to see the gang for the reunion!
I gave up ever trying to figure out that campground based on the numbered and lettered markers. Casey and I only knew we were near each other because of the blow-up sex doll hanging from the sprinkler haha.
I really miss the Gorge.
I'm worried that it will be quite a while before 2012 is ever topped.
Vampire Weekend (4/18) ~ Sigur Ros (4/19) ~ Old Crow Medicine Show (4/28) ~ Rolling Stones (5/2) ~ Born Ruffians (5/6) ~ Yo La Tengo (5/9) ~ Rhye (5/10) ~ Baths (6/28) ~ Latitude Music Festival (7/21) ~ End of the Road Festival (8/30 - 9/1)
I still can't get over how easily it topped my 2010 experience. So much fun that first year.
Sasquatchers, I thought of all of you when I was reading this review about Lollapalooza in SPIN (source):

Hahaha this guy just pops up everywhere........ Atleast only a few at sasquatch were forced to listen to his "raps" before PL
I totally forgot that guy popped up right before Pretty Lights played. I was out of my skull and didn't remember that until just recently.
