No kidding! Hour and a half set is something I was not expecting.

So I hear the Roots live show is kick-ass - is it worth trying to get into their discog or just enjoy it without knowing a thing?
Vampire Weekend (4/18) ~ Sigur Ros (4/19) ~ Old Crow Medicine Show (4/28) ~ Rolling Stones (5/2) ~ Born Ruffians (5/6) ~ Yo La Tengo (5/9) ~ Rhye (5/10) ~ Baths (6/28) ~ Latitude Music Festival (7/21) ~ End of the Road Festival (8/30 - 9/1)
They really are a great band but there's no real need to get into their discography. When I've caught them at festivals they tend to play a lot of medleys consisting of covers. I don't really care for that type of set and much prefer to hear them play their own material but they still sound tight. The best show I ever caught of theirs was when they were touring for Things Fall Apart. You should definitely listen to that album because it is awesome.
Hey guys, if anyone happens to need to get rid of two tickets let me know, I know someone who is looking.
Thanks!

Ahh. Well, I didn't prepare very well in 2010 and it still wasn't that cold. I think you'll be fine as long as you pack accordingly.

There was ice on the top of cars in the morning on Saturday or maybe it was Sunday morning...seriously cold for most of the campers. We had a travel trailer and were toasty but a couple of the kids came inside and slept on the floor and the couch because it was too cold for them outside. Hopefully this year will be warmer:-) We almost had to use the aircon here last night because it was so warm and we are just down river a ways from the amphitheater. Got our fingers crossed for continued warm weather and no prolonged wintery spring like last year. Layers of fleece if not!
2011 was my third year and by far the coldest of the three. Everyone's best bet is to pack for both warm to cool nights and blisteringly cold nights, because the weather forecast can and likely will be changing all the way up until that weekend. Washington's weather is straight up fucked.
Oh wow, that makes me feel a lot better about how fucking cold I was last year. I think I wore something like 2 layers inside a down mummy bag zipped all the way. Don't even like to think about it..
