Yeah, I can't make any definitive plans yet, but if I do come that route I'll be sure to get a ride with you guys. It apparently would only take 26 hours to bike from my place to Spokane. That would be fun.

I too am thinking their set time would be incorrect. They are debuting this thing in the US, so I feel like it's something they might put on later. Here's some more info on it:
Source“Because making electronic music live on stage can be a little bit abstract for the [audience], the starting point for us has always been to communicate with people through visuals,” says van der Zwaag. “We use three projectors that are placed behind the screens, with every projector projecting on three screens. These are controlled by a laptop with Modul8 software [and] a Triplehead2go splits the video signal into three different signals, which get sent to the projectors. We also have a MIDI signal coming from the laptop [equipped with] Abelton, so Sjam and Jori can influence the visuals as well.”
The result is a bombastic cirque du lumiere, a fantastical light show that “freaks with the synths” of the band’s ever-throbbing, club-banging sound. “People are instantly amazed by it. It’s such a beautiful thing, even if there’s no projection on it. The amount of light that comes from the projectors can be overwhelming. Rogier had to adapt his visuals so people would actually dance and not just stare,” laughs Sjamsoedin.
Big fan of Sigur Ros! I'd die to see Radiohead and Sigur together.
Check out my blog, it's got a lot of melodic, chillstep, experiemtental, a little dubby music on it.

Does anybody need a ticket? Friend can't go anymore so Ive got an extra, and if I list it on stubhub at the cheapest, I'll be only getting around 250$ - Losing a bit of money to that damned company. PM me for details. Have hard copy in hand already
ill be there this year if anyone wants to meet up, have a few beers and take a few pictures for memories! : }
Have any of you guys seen Pretty Lights before? If so, does he mix his tracks? I can't really find mixes of his & all videos I see are just him playing one track and stopping.
I have seen him a twice before. He occssionally mixes his tracks together, but traditionally he will cut out one track before transitioning into another. For the most part his tracks are all over the place without consistant tempo, so I understand how it can be hard to mix them.
I still plan on seeing him as I was a big fan of his older material (Filling Up the City Skies), but now everything he makes is annoying dubstep with huge drops to appeal to the masses. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good show.
I think my boyfriend and I are going to check him out too. I burned Passing By Behind Your Eyes for a long drive I had and I was surprised by what was on it. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would (I kind of expected to hate it). I am not really familiar with his other material, especially newer stuff. I do have Filling Up the City Skies as well but I haven't finished listening to it yet.

Damnit! I'm glad it is out early though!
Working now. Some brutal conflicts. Top 3 acts on Sunday are scheduled in an unfortunate way. Beirut overlaps with Little Dragon by quite a bit. Zola Jesus doesn't, but I'll have a shitty spot for Little Dragon if I watch her. Mogwai and Beck overlap by 30 minutes.
Yeah, a schedule six weeks ahead of time is a godsend.

The conflicts aren't that bad for me, actually. Although the Mogwai vs Beck sucks.
St. Vincent v. Tune-yards v. Shins is not going to make people happy..
Baths (6/28) ~ Latitude Music Festival (7/21) ~ End of the Road Festival (8/30 - 9/1) ~ Godspeed You! Black Emporer (9/12) ~ James Blake (10/23)
Whoa, Mogwai vs. Beck? Those are two of the 4 biggest names this year, wtf?
I see VIP box tickets being scalped online. Anyone know how those work? Does that admit multiple people or would I need to buy a VIP box ticket for each person? Only looking to go one day.
I am not really sure what the deal is with those single day tickets on stubhub since none were officially released, so I'm not sure I would have a ton of confidence in them. I saw somewhere someone said they were for media/special people types and any that didn't end up getting used ended up on stubhub. Stubhub guarentees purchases though so I guess there isn't much risk involved. If you buy it just call ticketmaster when you get it and I believe they can verify it with the serial number. I am pretty sure that they are only good for one person though. Maybe if you had a couple friends with 4 day passes you could sweet talk the guard to let you bring a couple friends into the VIP area, but there is no way you would be able to get more than 1 person in the fest with a ticket that costs $100-$200.
The conflicts in the schedule aren't terrible for me, and I am going to be spending most of my time every day at the Bigfoot stage. There's been discussion in our Facebook Sasquatch group about the sound there...what do you guys think of it? I've heard such mixed reviews! I will be disappointed if the sound sucks and I spend the majority of every day there.
The Bigfoot is hit or miss. The sound there has been terrible for both electronic acts and 'rock' bands. There really isn't any rhyme or reason to it.
I suggest getting close and staying down the middle of the stage.

How easy is it to go between the Bigfoot and the Main stage?
