    What juststeve said Frank lol.

This RV has a level gauge so we can keep an eye on what we are using. I am not a RV expect but I will be spending some time with the rental place making sure I know whats up with everything on board so we dont have any issues.

    ANOTHER VET QUESTION:

    32637s_a.jpg

    Bigger:
    http://media.ticketmaster.com/ln/en-...a/32637s_a.gif

Does "entrance" mean "entrance to camping" or "entrance to the amphitheater"? Where is the spot closest to the path we would need to walk to get to the venue? Drawing on the map would be helpful (I'm looking at you, Faxman).

The entrance is the entrance to camping. The line pointing to amphitheater is the path to the venue.

What they said. ^ The centre of the circle is where the campsite food and showers are.

While applying condiments to our grey burgers in '09, a manager of the food stand area overheard us lamenting the quality and selection of food. He told us they've unsuccessfully lobbied upper-management to implement improvements and as customers, we should take up the helm and put pressure on them to get off their asses and authorize change. He also said the Gorge's distance away from civilization wasn't really a factor contributing to the por selection/quality, just upper-management's miserliness.

There are chain link fences to chain your bike to and personally I think a bike is the only way to go but no beach cruisers for Sasquatch...need at least 3 gears to get up the hill and 10 would be better. With the in and out option this year a bike would be the best option to getting back to your campsite.....or to the showers.....or to the gen store to get ice...a bike is the way to go!

Vodka gummies....eeeooowwww! That does sound terrible! The fruit soaked and then put into the lemonade is not as bad...the alcohol seems to soak into the drink and the fruit is not so disgusting after that:-)

FYI, the iced coffee is very popular and tends to have quite a long line.

I don't think bikes are allowed on the trail between the festival grounds and the campground. Plus, it's kind of a steepish trail with a few switchbacks and it can get very crowded too.
You ride your bike on the road, not the trail and it is much faster than walking but remember the hills and do not bring a single speed bike or you will just be walking it anyway unless you are superman:-) You can ride your bike in the camping area and then just ride it out and onto the road that goes to the front gate of the venue...lots easier than walking 20 minutes:-)

There is plenty of reasonably good food (including Spicey Pie) in the campground, but for some reason they don't allow anything but the permanent food stands in the venue. Probably something to do with space constraints and the Gorge having full rights to selling food, sometimes I forget the Gorge is separate from Sasquatch.

I usually eat one purchased meal per day in the venue and split it with a friend. Chicken strips and fries are usually pretty reasonable, and there is almost never a big line if you go to the right stand. I think they were $9 for 3 big strips and fries last year. The cheesesteaks aren't too bad from the one I had, and the noodle bowls are tolerable. Keep in mind that I'm drunk pretty much the whole time, so all of this food tastes way better to me than a sober person.

Eat a big breakfast, bring in some snacks, get a hot meal if you are hungry, and get some food back at the campground after the shows. The food is pretty much a joke compared to other festivals though.

I wish all festival food could be as good as Glastonbury and Coachella (not that they both have their gross vendors, but there's so much good stuff to be had as well). The food at Primavera was surprisingly abysmal. On Thursday, I was too busy trying to meet everyone and dealing with MTV to eat anything at the pub, so all I had that 20 hour day was a hot dog inside the venue and a couple fries that someone shared with me at the pub. So the next two days I made sure to have a good, big meal before going into the venue.

I bought a couple of music DVDs yesterday at Amoeba, one being the "From the Basement" compilation. There were some Beck performances in there (also The Shins and The White Stripes) so I'd like to share one with you all in the spirit of Sasquatch.

Yeah, this is the only food I purchased inside the venue. It's kinda hard to fuck up chicken strips and fries. Wild Horse needs to open a grill inside the main camp.

Also, really digging this new Beck song:

I think about this video a lot!! One of my favorite songs and simply could not ask for a better live version.

I would seriously flip the fuck out if he played this.

Really hoping Beck does a lot of Sea Change, especially Already Dead, Lost Cause, Sunday Sun, Lonesome Tears. And some Midnite Vultures, of course. Nobody's Fault But My Own would also be ace.

I'd wager a Beck for Lashes performance of "Let's Get Lost" isn't going to happen at Sasquatch or probably anywhere ever.

Has he ever played "Send a Message to Her"?

We are planning on checking out Cave B Winery during the day on Friday before the festival starts. The winery is adjacent to the Gorge so we can just walk over there from the campground if anyone wants to come with us.

    ^ I watched a ton of bands I dislike in 2010 because I didn't want to move.

Me toooo. I thought this performance was really great; I hadn't seen it before though in watching the rest of the DVD I realized I had seen a lot of the others in the past.

I think I am making a shirt inspired by Mixed Bizness for his set. Thinking it over still...

Absolutely a must see because this winery is fantastic! Anyone that even slightly enjoys wine should check it out because it is a one of a kind place for sure:-)
