And I won't even be mad

Skrillex a definite maybe for this year. If not then possibly Deadmau5 & Skrillex 2013. Deadmau5 could be a "mainstage closer" Skrillex close the Sahara.
I Think Skrillex may very well Surpass Deadmau5.

Iron Maiden, Boards of Canada and Underworld for 2013

DADA LIFE. :\
Avicii, Porter Robinson, Bingo Players, Calvin Harris DJ Set, and probably Martin Solveig will be there.

I actually like deadmau5.... yeah I said it.
It would be sad to me if Skrillex ended up surpassing him, but all deadmau5 needs to do is come up with a flashy new head and a new CD and his popularity will continue to stay above Skrillex's.
deadmau5 >>>>>>>>>>>> Skrillex
It will be a sad sad day if Skrillex does surpass mau5. Isn't Skrillex on Mau5's label tho? Mau5 can fuck him over somehow and slow his ascent
Coachella Weekend #1
I like him too, I think he has some really good songs and he's pretty good live. I think some of the hate against him is less than warranted.
But he won't "infect" the Sahara because if he plays he's closing the main. However, I'd be really surprised if he was there this year.
I can't even imagine the crowd that would be at Pauly D's set.

i could see an21 and max vangeli being there
Current standings as far as likes on facebook go:
Deadmau5: 4,332,020
Skrillex: 2,210,693
keep in mind Skrillex has only been working on those for a little over a year. Skrillex is appealing to a whole new audience outside of edm, as well as in it. Skrillex tracks are more radio friendly than deadmau5, and will probably be rotated on KROQ sooner than we think (I think his track with Korn is already getting play). Deadmau5 has plateaued. Your boy Skrillex is on the rise

Some people I work with know who Skrillex and Deadr4t are but don't know who Justice or the Chemical Brothers are.
I had one girl who told me she liked Ghostland Observatory's light shows but I suggested her to check out the Chemical Brothers as their live shows blow Ghostland's out of the water easily.
i mean worldwide. skrilly seems to be dominating the college and high school crowd but i'd be surprised if he was that popular outside of that demographic.

Mormons in the Sahara?
I like this
... Kaskade’s seventh studio album, “Fire & Ice,” which came out Tuesday. The iTunes release, two weeks earlier, made its debut at No. 4 on the United States overall album chart, behind Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé.

Booking bad DJ's is one thing. Booking a number of bad DJ's that play essentially the same brand of crap is mystifying. Coachella is not EDC (last time I checked). With a relatively limited number of DJ sets on offer, there shouln't be reason to have conversations about "most overplayed track".
Fans of bad DJ's: does this redundancy annoy you?
You know the answer to that. Of course it doesn't. It's the same reason people go to "hip hop" clubs and get excited to hear "California Love" dropped every weekend.
